Kyōko Kagawa

第二次世界大戦末期の1945年（昭和20年）沖縄本島及びその周辺離島に上陸したアメリカ軍とイギリス軍を主体とする連合国軍と日本軍の間で行われた激戦。4月1日、沖縄本島中部に上陸したアメリカ軍は、島を南北に分断。迎撃のため、日本軍は南部撤退による持久戦を展開。その結果、沖縄県民を巻き込む激しい地上戦となる。6月23日、日本軍司令官・参謀長らの自決により組織的戦闘は終結。この戦争での沖縄県民の死者は12万2278人、そのうちの9万4000人は、一般の住民であった。

大政奉還が行われた1867年、260年余り続いた江戸幕府が倒れて諸藩は東軍(旧幕府軍)と西軍(新政府軍)に分裂する。翌年には鳥羽・伏見の戦いをきっかけに戊辰戦争へとなだれ込むが、越後の小藩である長岡藩の家老・河井継之助は冷静に事態を見守っていた。彼は東軍と西軍いずれにも属さない武装中立を目指し、和平を願い談判に挑むが...。

The owner of an established photo studio, collapses from illness. His son Shinta, who was raised by his divorced wife, comes home. One day, an elderly woman named shows up at the studio and beckons Shinta to come with her. They arrive at a grassy field where Shinta finds about the secret of the "singing voice" that keeps echoing in his memory and about his father's feelings.

Sakura, who just graduated from a university, begins to work at a library in Katsuragi, Nara Prefecture. She is flustered with her new job and unfamiliar environment. Reiko sometimes brings other photos and Sakura takes her to the place where the photos were taken. While doing this, Sakura learns about the history and culture of Katsuragi. She also talks with the residents and grows as a person.

天国の入り口にやって来た22人の老若男女。彼らはこれから7日間の間に大切な思い出をひとつだけ選ばなければならない。人はその思い出だけを持って天国に向かう。思い出は職員の手により撮影され、最終日に上映会が開かれることになっていた。さっそく職員たちは死者たちから思い出を聞き出し、撮影のための準備を進める。

Kenji Mizoguchi: The Life of a Film Director (Aru eiga-kantoku no shogai) is a 1975 Japanese documentary film on the life and works of director Kenji Mizoguchi, directed by Kaneto Shindo (Onibaba). It runs 150 minutes and can be found on the second disc of the Region 1 Criterion Collection release of Ugetsu (1953).

The humorous tale of Jimbei, a miller, and his wife Osen who live in complete happiness. But Osen's beauty attracts numerous would-be lovers among whom is the local governor, a timid creature, who is dominated by his high-born and beautiful wife, who dresses in a scarlet battle-tunic, a sign of his family's military merit around which he fabricates fantastic tales of his prowess in war. During the traditional festival when the villagers are released from observance of all social customs and restrictions, it is permissible for any man to attempt win the favors of the one he loves. However, the timid but romantic governor goes to the length of having the miller arrested to clear the way for his seduction of Osen. But Osen fights off his advances with an old hunting gun and dashes out of the mill. Jimbei, meanwhile, has escaped from jail and dashes home to finds the governor in his bed. The Glorious Days

森鴎外の同名小説を、八尋不二と依田義賢が共同で脚色し、溝口健二がメガホンをとった文芸作品。特に美術と撮影はレベルが高く、ヴェネチア国際映画祭で銀獅子賞を受賞した。美しいラストシーンは、ゴダールが「気狂いピエロ」において引用したことでも知られる。 　平安時代末期、農民を救うため将軍にたてついた平正氏が左遷された。妻の玉木、娘の安寿と息子の厨子王は越後を旅している途中、人買いにだまされ離ればなれになってしまう。玉木は佐渡に、安寿と厨子王は丹後の山椒大夫に奴隷として売られた。きょうだいはそれから十年もの間、奴隷としての生活を続けるが、ついに意を決して逃げ出すことにする。しかし追っ手に迫られ、安寿は厨子王を逃すため池に身を投げるのだった。

Motoko Fujikawa works in the Seisen Church as an assistant to pastor Maki Inokichi. Motoko falls in love with Inokichi's virtuous character and devotes herself to the rehabilitation of a delinquent girl, gradually finding her job at the institution more worthwhile than the marriage recommended by her parents. Meanwhile, inside Inokichi's heart a flame of unknowing love for the single-minded Motoko begins to burn...

Ikeuchi was captain of the K - University ice hockey team. The daughter Shikotsuko of Ginza 's western restaurant "Piccolo" was also a female student at K University and was a figure player. They had a dream of being dispatched to Oslo in the Olympic Games and were struggling in each way. Mizuno who runs a sports equipment store in Ginza, showed the geisha by guiding the junior's Ikeuchi and others to the shop of Shimbashi one day.

谷崎潤一郎の同名小説を八住利雄が脚色し阿部豊が監督した文芸作。大阪を舞台に美しい四姉妹が織りなす物語。『細雪』はこの後、島耕二(1959年)と市川崑(1983年)により映画化された。四女の妙子を演じた高峰秀子が抜群の演技力を見せる。洪水のシーンに特撮が使われ、豪華な衣装が多数用意されるなど、当時としては破格の製作費がかけられたという。 　昭和初期の蒔岡家。長女の鶴子は夫と共に古い暖簾を守り、次女の幸子は婿養子を迎えて芦屋に分家、三女の雪子は幸子夫妻から縁談を持ちかけられるが上手くいかない。四女の妙子は恋仲になったカメラマンが死亡したことから、自暴自棄になってしまう…。

映画『窓から飛び出せ』は、二組の家族の交流を描いた心温まる作品です。徳山周介（大日方傳）は農業と畜産業を営み、父の理太郎（汐見洋）、弟の勇二（小林桂樹）、妻の藤子（轟夕起子）、4人の子供（うち3人が大日方の息子と娘2人）の8人という大家族で暮らしていました。隣家の藤枝家は、船長だった夫を海での遭難事故で亡くした千栄子（岡村文子）と娘の茉利子（香川京子）、足に障がいがありリハビリを続ける息子の道夫（大日方の息子）の3人家族でした。その徳山家と藤枝家の交流を通して、家族の大切さ、人の優しさが画面いっぱいに映し出されます。
