A unique black comedy set in Ginza Cinepathos, a long-established movie theater that closes at the end of March 2013 while being familiar to movie fans with its retro appearance and unique lineup. Unique guests visiting the theater draw a human pattern during breaks.

A continuation of the story of the postwar years in the Japanese Inland Sea. Now a decade has passed. Two friends meet and decide to look for the beautiful girl with whom they went to school as children.

ハワイに住む早坂恵美子（松田聖子）は、ホテルチェーンの社長の息子・国吉明（山下真司）と見合いをした。恵美子はまだ結婚を考えていなかったが、明と双方の両親はこの縁談に乗り気だった。夏休み、明に導かれ訪れた日本で、恵美子は一人の少年にナイフで斬りかかられるが、偶然通りかかった青年・寺尾慎治（中井貴一）に助けられる。慎治は、ウインドサーフィンに情熱を傾け、世界大会に向け日々練習に励んでいた。恵美子は、無愛想だが誠実な彼に惹かれていく。ハワイに帰国し、両親の反対を押し切って明の話を破談にしてもらった。そんな中、世界大会が近付き、慎治が日本からハワイにやってくる。

現職刑事を夫に持つ柿内園子は、食器店で銀のスプーンを万引きしている現場を、OLの志藤光子に目撃されてしまう。事を公にしたくない園子は求めに応じ、光子と関係を持つようになるが、徐々に自ら快楽を求めるようになっていった。夫の剛は自分と体を重ねようとしない園子に疑いを持ち、部下を使って妻を尾行させ、光子の存在を突き止める。園子と光子を問い詰める剛だったが、二人は関係を認めようとしない。だがある日、園子は光子を家に連れ込み、男一人女二人の生活が始まるのだった。

兵隊帰りの若者は、40歳すぎながらまだまだ若くみえる人力車夫の妻と関係を持つ。26歳も年が離れていることを知りつつ若者との関係を断つことのできない女は、ついに若者と共謀し夫を殺害、井戸の中に投げ捨てる。しかしそれから、夢の中で車夫を見たという者が現れ、やがて妻や若者の前にも車夫の亡霊が姿を見せるようになる。

Masao is falsely accused and jailed for the murder of a loanshark to whom he owed a lot of money. His sister Kiriko makes the long trip to Tokyo, specifically to accost Otsuka, Japan's top criminal defence lawyer, and plead with him to take her brother's case. They live in Kitakyushu which, though a city, she contends that the local lawyers are not up to the job. Otsuka contemptuously brushes her off. A year passes. Masao has suicided in jail, his appeal having failed due to the lack of interest and competence of the local defence lawyer. Kiriko returns to Tokyo, planning revenge on Otsuka for refusing the case and causing her brother's death.

日本各地に残る犬神憑きや狐憑き伝説。その憑き物を代表する“犬神憑き”に題材を取って、現代の都会と山村で次々と起る怪奇現象と取り憑く身の毛もよだつ恐怖を、リアルで大胆な映像感覚で描いたカルト的名声高いホラー大作。とくに犬神が可憐な少女に憑依して天空を疾駆する息もつかせないバトルは見応え十分である。

昭和11年。料亭の女中定は店の主人に心惹かれ、情事を重ねるようになる。その情事が男の妻に知れてしまい、二人は駆け落ちを決行する。快楽におぼれる日々を重ねるうちに定は男を永遠に手放したくないと思うようになり、ついには男を自分だけのものにするため首を絞めて殺害し、さらには男の陰部を切り取ってしまうのだった。

A family of four lives off of scams in which they pretend to be injured by automobiles. After suffering an injury during the war, the father believes he is an invalid. He and his wife have a 10-year-old boy and another, younger boy. The adults pretend to be injured by autos in crowded traffic, blackmailing the fearful motorists with threats to call in the police.

Masaaki Kagari (Akira Kobayashi) is the recruiter and protector of hostesses at the Club Rose. One day he visits Club Aron, to complain about attempts to lure hostesses from Club Rose. Aron's madam Hisayo reminds him of a tragic experience five years before, when a lovely girl named Kumi committed double suicide with a man in a hotel. For Aron's madam is Kumi's elder sister. Kagari's friend Hayazaki introduces him to Chie, the young sister of the man who died with Kumi, who has come to Tokyo to learn the truth about her brother's death. Kagari sends them both away. But he continues to be haunted by the warmed-over memories. When Club Aron is found selling bootleg whisky Kagari learns that Hisayo has been a tool in the hands of the Akune group who are also responsible for trying to steal his girls, and that Fujikura, the public prosecutor who presided over the case of Kumi's death and ruled it suicide, is now the personal lawyer of the Akune group...

物語は死刑囚・韓国人少年Rの絞死刑が失敗したところから始まる。Rは死刑執行失敗のショックで心神喪失状態に陥ってしまう。その状態では刑の再執行は許されないため、Rの判断能力を取り戻させようと、死刑執行人たちが四苦八苦する姿がブラック・ユーモア風に描かれていく。執行人たちはRの家庭環境や彼の犯罪を芝居で再現して見せる。その混沌とする事実と虚構が、事件の真相や日本国家に内在する矛盾、問題点をあらわにしていく。

Bungo is released from prison to find his son Kenichi in the care of strangers. Teruko, the woman originally looking after the boy, was forced to leave town and sell herself into prostitution. The story tells of Tsuchiya, a university professor and a widower who is in love with a widow who runs a small restaurant, and his son is in love with a runaway girl who turns out to be the leader of a religious sect. Kusano is the henpecked proprietor of a rice biscuit shop who dreams of owning a bird and dog shop and his daughter is in love with a boarder, employed by the private detective agency searching for the runaway girl. The agency head has his own dream of arranging thirty marriages and has already accomplished twenty-seven. Tatsumi is a newspaper reporter who dreams of a big scoop to enable him to marry a girl TV producer and his friend a mountain climbing enthusiast who dreams of joining a Himalayan expedition but is opposed by his wife. His love of the mountains is shared by a boarder in their home and by a fishmonger's son.

A woman diver in great peril is rescued by Shinji, a fisherman. But his deed is belittled by Takiko, another diver, as a rash act. Her attitude, however, is nothing but a cloak to hide her affection for him. Shinji, hard working and manly, becomes the focus of many yearning eyes and Seikichi, the boss' son, picks a quarrel with him and violent fight ensues in which Shinji kills a man in self-defense.
