古代中国、殷代末期。強大な勢力を誇る時の王・紂王（ちゅうおう）は、慢心により女神の怒りを買い、九尾の狐が化けた美女・妲己（だっき）に魅了されてしまう。紂王は妲己に操られるまま暴政を行ない、人間界は戦乱と妖魔たちが跋扈する乱世と化した。事態を重く見た仙界最強の道士にして周の軍師・姜子牙（きょうしが）は、弟子の楊セン（ようせん）らを派遣するが、妲己率いる妖魔軍団もこれを迎え撃つべく策略を巡らしていた。

Leaving to seek revenge, he runs foul of a group of vicious desert scum, losing his right arm in the process. After being nursed back to health, he eventually learns to compensate for his loss and returns to confront the man who murdered his father.
