Alexandre finds out his wife Juliette is cheating on him. They quarrel with each over, Juliette runs away during the night, and has a fatal fall. In 1970s Germany, Leopold, a 50-year-old businessman, picks up and seduces 20-year old Franz, who swiftly moves into his bachelor pad.
