代々続く冒険一家であるクレイド一家は、ある日、奇妙な世界に迷い込んでしまう。そこはすべてが幻想的な淡いピンク色に包まれ、キラキラと光を放って動く植物や魚のような生物など、未知の生き物が存在する世界であった。この謎に包まれた世界から脱出するため、クレイド一家は壮大な旅に出ることを決める。

ミッキーマウスは地球のほぼ隅々で、喜びと純真のシンボルとして認識されている。映像と音声がシンクロした世界初の短編アニメーション「蒸気船ウィリー」に主演したミッキーは一夜にしてセンセーションを巻き起こす。そして何十年にもわたって、自分の生みの親の並外れたキャリアと、自らが代表するようになった国の劇的な社会変化の両方を反映して、バージョンを著しく異なる形に進化させてきた。

嵐で遭難した英国人夫婦はアフリカの未開地に漂着するが、人食いヒョウの襲撃を受け、赤ん坊を残して殺されてしまう。メスゴリラのカーラに助けられた赤ん坊は、ターザンと名付けられ、ゴリラの群れの一員となった。ターザンは、仲間と姿形の違う自分の出自に悩みながらも、たくましい青年に成長していく。ある日、ターザンはジャングルにやって来たポーター教授の探検隊を目撃するが、やがて教授の娘ジェーンと親しくなっていく。
