サバンナの王として君臨するライオン、ムファサに息子シンバが生まれる。ムファサの弟スカーは、王の座を狙い、ムファサ暗殺を企み、罠にはまったムファサは絶命。邪悪な叔父スカーに父王を謀殺されたシンバは国を追われ、イボイノシシ等サバンナのはぐれ者たちと暢気なその日暮らしを送っていたが、恋心を抱く幼なじみのナラに、故国の窮状を訴えられ、皆を引き連れ帰郷、スカーと一対一の決闘に臨む……。
After her father's ship is carried off by a sudden storm, the spunky Pippi Longstocking is stranded with her horse, Alfonso,and her pet monkey, Mr. Neilson, and takes up residence in the old family home, which is thought by neighborhood children to be haunted. Soon, two children, Tommy and his sister Anika, venture into the house only to meet up with Pippi. The three soon become friends and get into various adventures together, including cleaning the floor with scrubbing shoes, dodging the "splunks", going down a waterfall in barrels, and helping Pippi with the problem of having to go to an orphanage. Older children will probably get the most out of this movie.

2万年前の地球。寒さを避けて南へと移動する動物たちとは反対に、孤独を愛するマンモスのマニーだけは北へ向かう。仲間に置いて行かれ、身の危険を感じたナマケモノのシドはマンモスといれば安心とマニーについていく。その頃、人間たちの小さな集落をサーベルタイガーのソト率いる一軍が襲っていた。赤ん坊のロシャンを抱いて必死で逃げる母ナディアだったが、川に転落、母子に気づいたシドにロシャンを託し、ナディアは命を落とす。無関心のマニーをよそに、シドはロシャンを人間のもとに届けると言い出すと、そこへソトの仲間ディエゴが近づいてきた。
シュレックは他の人からは怖がられている怪物である。その外見とは裏腹に本質は心の優しい彼は、人里離れた沼地で一人気楽に暮らしていた。ある日、シュレックは森の中でお調子者でおしゃべりなロバのドンキーと出会う。シュレックに怯えて逃げた兵達を見てシュレックが自分を救ってくれたと思い込み嫌がるシュレックについて行く。ドンキーのおしゃべりにうんざりしたシュレックが戻ってみると、彼の沼地には妖精やおとぎ話の主人公達が押し寄せてきていた。

実はティモンは、ミーアキャット仲間の問題児。「地平線のかなたまで他の動物の土地」と教えるママと、「ミーアキャットはみんなのディナー」と教えるおじさんとは、そりのあわないティモンは、自分の居場所を探しに旅に出発。途中で出会ったプンバァと意気投合し、プライド・ランドへ向かうのだが・・・。
