ある静かな朝のこと、100エーカーの森にラッパみたいな不思議な音が響き渡り、プーさんと仲間たちはびっくり。その音の正体は、世にも恐ろしい生き物と言われる“ズオウ”に違いありません。 みんなは“ズオウ”を捕まえる探検に出かけますが、危険すぎるからと置いてきぼりにされたルーは、ひとりで“ズオウ”を探すことに。すると、とっても人なつこくて遊ぶのが大好きなランピーという名の“ズオウ”の子どもに出会い、仲良しになります。ルーは、ランピーもみんなのことを怖いと思い込んでいることに気づき、仲良しになるためにランピーをズオウの谷から連れ出しますが･･･。

15歳の少年ジムは惑星モントレッサで母と2人暮らし。彼の父は、ジムがまだ幼い頃に家族を捨てて宇宙へと旅立ってしまった。ジムはその影響からか、トラブルばかり起こして母を困らせている。そんなある日、彼の家の近くに宇宙船が不時着。ジムは船内にいた瀕死の男を救出する。この時、男からある箱を渡されたジムは、男を追ってきた海賊の追跡を逃れ、宇宙物理学者ドップラー博士のもとへ辿り着く。そしてその箱を調べてみると、莫大な財宝が眠るという伝説の“トレジャー・プラネット”への地図が入っていた。

巨大隕石の衝突で地表が果てしない荒野と化した白亜紀の地球。イグアノドンのアラダー、キツネザルのプリオら生き残った恐竜や動物たちは、どこか生存に適した場所を求めて旅を続け、同じように移動していた草食恐竜の群れと出会う。その群れは、どこかにあるという伝説の楽園“生命の大地”を目指していた。一団に合流したアラダーたちだが、やがて彼らは、弱者を容赦なく切り捨てるリーダーのクローンのやり方に反発を覚える。

嵐で遭難した英国人夫婦はアフリカの未開地に漂着するが、人食いヒョウの襲撃を受け、赤ん坊を残して殺されてしまう。メスゴリラのカーラに助けられた赤ん坊は、ターザンと名付けられ、ゴリラの群れの一員となった。ターザンは、仲間と姿形の違う自分の出自に悩みながらも、たくましい青年に成長していく。ある日、ターザンはジャングルにやって来たポーター教授の探検隊を目撃するが、やがて教授の娘ジェーンと親しくなっていく。

ピッピがセッテルグレーン一家の住む街にある自宅「ごたごた荘」に、ペットのチンパンジー「ニルソン氏」、飼っている馬と共に帰って来る。トミーやアンニカと出会う。船を自宅に海育ち、その怪力ぶりとホラ吹きが得意な天衣無縫の自然児である故、いわゆる"お行儀のいい子"でないピッピに振り回される周囲。しかしサーカスを見に行って狼藉者を懲らしめたり、火事の高層アパートから逃げ遅れた子を助け出したりなどの活躍を見せ、根はいい子である事が周囲に理解されるようになる。
