For more than five decades he developed pioneering solutions reflecting his commitment to the potential of innovative design to create technology that does "more with less" and thereby improve human lives. He spent much of his life traveling the world lecturing and discussing his ideas with thousands of audiences. Despite its ad campaign roots, Richter's touch is not absent; The surviving version, aimed at a "bourgeois" Swiss public, presents decluttered, functional architecture and decor as superior to the traditional and luxurious "ancient" ways of living.

뜻하지 않은 사고로 어린 딸을 잃은 존(도날드 서덜랜드 분)과 로라(줄리 크리스티 분) 부부는 베니스로 이사를 가 아이를 잃은 슬픔을 잊어보려 하지만 주위가 딸의 죽음을 생각하는 것들로 둘러싸여 있음을 깨닫게 된다. 앞을 못 보는 심령술사 여동생을 만나면서 부부의 불길함은 더해지고, 여동생은 죽은 딸의 영혼을 만나게 해주겠다고 약속한다. 로라는 여동생의 생각을 받아들이며 죽은 딸과 교감하려 하고, 자신의 생각을 남편에게도 확신시키려 노력한다. 좀처럼 로라의 생각을 받아들이지 않던 존은 자신의 딸이 입었던 빨간 코트를 입은 누군가의 흐릿한 모습을 보게 되는 환상을 경험하면서 점차 영적 세계에 대한 관심을 갖게 된다.

‘서울시 신청사’ 컨셉 디자인의 최종 당선자인 건축가 유걸은 설계와 시공과정에서 제외된 채 신청사가 만들어지는 모습을 그저 바라볼 수밖에 없었다. 서울시는 유걸을 총괄디자이너라는 이름으로 준공을 앞둔 신청사의 디자인 감리를 요청한다. 너무 늦은 합류였다. 이미 골조는 완성된 상태였고 유걸이 할 수 있는 일이 많지는 않았다. 유걸은 그래도 자신이 시청사의 마감을 돌볼 수 있어 다행이라고 생각한다. 건축가 유걸은 자신의 설계에서 가장 중요하다고 생각했던 다목적홀(Concert Hall) 설계에 집중했다. 다목적홀은 시민들이 공연이나 강연을 볼 수 있는 공간으로 유걸의 신청사 설계의 개념을 가장 잘 보여주는 핵심적인 공간이었다. 구청사를 가리고 있던 가림막이 철거되고 신청사에 대한 사회와 여론의 비판이 쏟아졌다. 구청사와 조화가 되지 않는 최고 흉물이라며 연일 악평에 시달렸다. 신청사를 만들고 있는 실무자들도 비판적인 여론과 완공의 압박에 시달리며 지쳐갔다. 서울시 신청사 완공까지 7년, 아무도 몰랐던 숨겨진 이야기가 시작된다.

Nazi Third Reich propaganda film that used architecture as a statement about "racial accomplishment," and so called "racial superiority." Hitler claimed that between 1934 and 1940, the Nazi rule of Germany had produced architectural uniqueness, and this film was produced to shown to attempt to validate that. The opening montage gives a survey of earlier Gothic and Baroque structures in the country as an example of "architectural superiority" that the German race was said to be the sole inventor of; then moves on to deride the recent construction of the Bauhaus school (with a racially motivated score of Jazz music) and an example of German "architectural decay." Then proceeds to show off buildings constructed by the Nazi and an architectural revival, to "last 1000 years," Film also spends a great of time dwelling on massive and "busy" monuments that had been erected all over the county.
