'킬러 광대'만큼 심야상영에 적합한 영화는 없는 것 같다. 코미디와 호러를 배합한 '킬러 광대'는 물론 예술성이 있는 작품이 아니다. 아니 오히려 철저하게 예술성을 배제한 영화라고 보면 된다. 단순히 관객들의 즐거움을 선사하기 위해 만든 이 작품은 어설프게 관객에게 의미심장한 메시지를 전달한다거나 감독의 연출력을 내보이고 싶어 하지 않는다. 처음부터 끝까지 별 생각 없이 즐기시면 되는 영화다. 그렇다고 해서 이 영화 자체가 어설프다는 이야기는 절대 아니다. 오히려 관객에게 즐거움을 선사하기 위해서 철저히 ‘배려’된 작품이다. 잔인함과 코믹함이 완벽하게 배합된 '킬러 광대'는 두 가지를 다 원하는 관객들에겐 더 없이 ‘훌륭한’ 호러 코미디다. 잔인한 장면도 많이 있으니 단순한 코미디라고 생각하시는 분들은 피해 주시길...
