전화 로마의 한 도시에 혼자 있는 여자에게 낯선 이의 기분 안 좋은 전화가 걸려오고 상대방은 어딘가에서 여주인공을 훔쳐보면서 그녀를 죽이겠다고 협박을 한다. 여인은 겁에 질려 예전 동성애 관계였지만 현재는 사이가 소원해진 여자 친구에게 도움을 요청한다. 여자 친구는 주인공의 집을 방문하지만, 실은 협박 전화를 건 장본인도 바로 이 여자 친구라는 걸 알게 되는데... 이렇게 음성을 변조한 전화 협박을 통해 옛 연인과의 관계를 개선하려는 것이 그녀의 목적이었던 것이다. 우르달락(The Wurdalak) 혼자 여행 중이던 러시아의 젊은 백작 블라디미르는 산길에서 등에 단검이 꽂혀 있는 목 없는 시체를 발견한다. 시체를 말에 태우고 달리다가 발견한 첫 번째 집에서 집주인인 그레고르는 그 시체는 ‘우르달락’이 된 터키인 알리베크이며 단검은 자기 아버지인 고르카(보리스 칼로프)의 것이라고 말한다. 우르달락이란 피에 굶주린 시체로 생전에 사랑했던 사람들의 피를 탐한다고 한다. 블라디미르는 그레고르의 아름다운 누이인 스덴카에게, 아버지가 우르달락 사냥을 떠나며 자신이 떠난지 닷새가 지난 후에 돌아오면 이미 우르달락이 되어 있을 테니 집안에 들이지 말고 심장을 찌르라고 했다는 이야기를 듣는다. 닷새째인 그날 밤 자정 종이 울릴 무렵 고르카는 알리베크의 목을 가지고 지치고 창백한 모습으로 돌아온다. 그는 가족들이 사랑한 아버지일까? 아니면 영혼을 잃어버린 시체일까? 가족들은 그를 집안으로 들이는데...

[킬, 베이비... 킬!]은 바니타스를 주제로 한 정물화처럼 그로테스크한 형태로 보는 이를 압도한다. 한 여인이 알 수 없는 힘에 이끌려 뾰족한 창살을 향해 몸을 던지는 도입부부터가 예사롭지 않다. 의문의 사건이 터지면서 에스위 박사가 마을로 파견되고 수사를 위해 시체를 부검하려 든다. 하지만 마을 주민들은 저주를 받을 것이라며 부검을 반대하고 그 와중에 또 다른 희생자가 생겨난다. 여러 경로를 통해 수사망을 좁혀나가던 박사는 이 모든 사건이 그랍스 가문에서 시작됐음을 알게 된다. 은 고딕풍의 '귀신들린 집'을 콘셉트로 내세우지만 미스터리한 금발 소녀(실제로는 '소년'이 가발을 쓰고 연기했다.)의 존재는 좀 더 기괴하고 독특한 분위기를 창조한다. 이에 경탄한 스탠리 큐브릭과 마틴 스콜세지는 각각 (1980)과 (1988)에서 그들 나름의 창조적인 방식으로 금발 소녀를 등장시켜 에 오마주를 바쳤다.

Colic tells a story of a couple Pongpob and Phraeploy who have a shotgun wedding upon discovering that Praeploy has unexpectedly become pregnant. After the wedding, Pongpob brings Phraeploy to his mother's suburban home. The night before Praeploy delivers the child, the house next to theirs catches on fire. When the baby is delivered, and is brought to their house, he screams and cries with no reason. The doctor considers the baby has colic, and tells the couple that the ailment will disappear when the baby turns 3 to 6 months old. Several months later, the baby still hasn't stopped crying...while the family's members encounter to mysterious and unexplained experiences.

마약 복용으로 재활원에 다녀온 10대 소녀 멜라니(레아 파이프스)는 새로 이사 온 마을에서 새롭게 인생을 시작하려 한다. 그런데 첫 날, 먼저 마을에 와 살고 있던 언니 크리스탈(크리스틴 카발라리)에게 마을의 기찻길에 대한 얽힌 전설을 듣게 된다. 50년 전, 아이들을 태운 한 스쿨버스가 기차와 충돌하면서 아이들이 모두 죽는 사고가 일어난다. 그때 이후로 기찻길에 차를 가만히 세우고 있으면 그 아이들의 영혼이 나타나 차를 기찻길 밖으로 밀어준다는 이야기가 마을에 전해 내려온다. 미신을 믿지 않는 멜라니는 이를 그냥 웃어넘기지만 정말로 차가 저절로 움직이는 경험을 하게 되고 어떤 한 여자 아이가 계속 나타나면서 주변에 이상한 일들이 벌어진다. 그리고 마을에서는 사람들이 하나 둘 죽어나간다. 결국 멜라니는 그 여자아이가 50년 전 사고로 죽은 아이의 영혼이며 자신에게 도움을 청하고 있다는 사실을 깨닫게 되고 당시의 버스 사고가 조작된 것이며 마을의 고속도로 건설로 인한 비밀이 있음을 밝혀내는데..
