A screenwriter gets involved with two actresses who are trying to succeed in the 1960s Hong Kong film industry.

Residents of a big city, each of whom has their own sexual problems and desires, secret and, most often, shameful from the point of view of society, need to solve them. Each of the characters tries to solve their problems in their own way: someone sublimates them, someone turns to a psychotherapist for help, someone rushes into experiments... but sooner or later they all return to where they started, and they have to overcome themselves again and again to get at least a little, even a millimeter closer to their happiness.

A man and two women are trying their luck in the red room in the countryside. The older (but therefore not wiser) Fred, freshly divorced as a kisser who still desires his ex, meets the self-confident Lucy, who feels called to explore the soul of men in her novels. She lives with her intimate friend Sibil in a Vorpommern house in the countryside. Fred decides to move from Berlin to the two women and try a ménage-à-trois. They get to know each other and themselves.

에스파냐의 탐험가 프란시스코 피사로는 에스파냐 왕실의 도움으로 200명이 채 안 되는 부하들을 이끌고 잉카제국 정복에 나선다. 지병에 시달리면서도 천신만고 끝에 페루에 도착한 피사로와 그의 부하들은 잉카제국의 황제이자 ‘태양의 아들’ 아타왈파에게 회견을 청한다. 아타왈파는 비무장 상태인 수행원들과 함께 피사로 앞에 나서지만 개종을 하고 에스파냐의 왕에게 충성을 바치라는 에스파냐 측의 요구를 거부하고 성경을 내동댕이친다. 이를 신호로 화승총과 대포를 앞세운 에스파냐군의 공격이 시작되고 수많은 잉카인들이 일방적인 학살을 당하고 아타왈파는 체포된다. 몸값으로 금을 지불하면 풀어주겠다는 말에 막대한 양의 황금보물들이 잉카 각지에서 실려 오고 침략자들은 이를 녹여 금괴로 만든다. 한편 잉카제국을 손아귀에 넣고 싶은 욕망과 아타왈파에 대한 연민사이에서 갈등하는 피사로는 부하들의 반발을 사게 된다. 결국 아타왈파의 신병문제로 재판이 열리는데... Triangle is a dance in which young man and woman entwine in a succession of lithe movements. The association is with the triangle shape, in a human context involving the introduction of a second woman into the mix. This triggers a dynamic of jealousy and rage, though it seems reconciled at the end. Nominated for an Oscar in 1995 it is a wonderfully envigorating fusion of dance, music and animation.
