Loreena McKennitt: A Moveable Musical Feast
A Moveable Musical Feast is a unique souvenir of Loreena McKennitt’s 2007 An Ancient Muse tour and offers a rare backstage look at one of contemporary music’s most interesting live performers. Through candid interviews with Loreena, her band, crew, fans and professional colleagues from the Canadian music industry, we gain insight into her career, work ethic and the artistry that has been the foundation of her remarkable musical journey. Loreena and her fellow travellers entertain us with stories of how her show 'goes up', discuss the joys and challenges of their nomadic life when 'on the road' and share their thoughts on the creative relationships they have with each other, the music and the audience. Tangerine Dream . Rocking Out The Bats
A beautiful warm late summer night it was when five musicians started one of their maybe most remarkable outdoor concerts in the City of Berlin. The so-called "Zitadelle" in the Spandau district of Berlin is more than historic in many ways. Apart from the political heritage and burdens it is also the home of thousands of bats - one of the largest community of these creatures in Europe. Within the very old walls and niches of the building they live a very WWF protected life. Therefore the band had to except a curfew by 10 pm which was rather sad because they had a lot more to say musically. But nevertheless it has been a breathtaking event for those who could attend. On this DVD you will see the whole show and some extras behind the scenes, sometimes with a laugh and sometimes with an ironic attitude. So enjoy a warm summer night's show on a cold midwinter night.:-)

Miles Davis: Kind of Blue
Kind Of Blue: Celebrating A Masterpiece incorporates material from the 2004 mini-documentary, Made In Heaven, including black-and-white still photography of the recording sessions and the voices of Miles (at the sessions), as well as excerpts of radio interviews with the late Bill Evans.
Peter Green: Splinter Group - In Concert
Filmed as part of the 2003 tour, Peter Green is captured in full flight on guitar, harmonica and vocals, backed by The Splinter Group. The two-hour plus show is split into two sets: acoustic and electric.
Marcus Miller - Tutu Revisited
Tutu Revisited is a wonderful showcase for the exceptional bass skills of Marcus Miller and represents his homage to the timeless music of Miles Davis. Before an appreciative audience in Lyon (France), Marcus and his band settle into a comfortable groove of funk & rhythm and interact with each other very effectively. Christian Scott's trumpet recalls much of the timbre and subtlety of Miles, but with his own unique "whispering" style of playing. Quite a virtuoso and extraordinary talent in his own rite.
Marvin Gaye - Live In Montreux 1980
Marvin Gaye: Live in Montreux 1980 is a taped performance of singer Marvin Gaye's performance at the Montreux Jazz Festival, recorded on July 17, 1980. Gaye included this performance as part of a European tour. Gaye performs a majority of his hits from his recent disco-funk hits "Got to Give It Up" and "A Funky Space Reincarnation", to his duet hits with Tammi Terrell including "Ain't No Mountain High Enough" and "Ain't Nothing Like the Real Thing", in which Gaye re-interpolated the songs as a somber tribute to Terrell, who died over a decade before, to sixties Motown classics such as "I'll Be Doggone", "Ain't That Peculiar", "How Sweet It Is (To Be Loved By You)" and "I Heard It through the Grapevine", to seventies standards such as "What's Going On", "Trouble Man" and "Let's Get It On". The Montreux set was later released as a CD/DVD in 2003.

The Modern Jazz Quartet 35th Anniversary Concert
Starting in 1946, The Modern Jazz Quartet has existed as a great, but perhaps obscure group compared to luminaries such as Duke Ellington (with whom they once worked with), Cab Calloway, Oscar Peterson, and Miles Davis, They would perform their own original works, along with "covers" of other existing works. The Quartet as captured in this 1987 35th Anniversary concert consists of the following: John Lewis on piano, Milt Jackson on vibraphone, Percy Heath on bass, and Connie Kay on drums. Taped as a live performance at the Zelt-Musik-Festival in Freiburg, Germany, it's a great capture of seasoned musiciains.
