시놉시스
An adaptation of Madame Bovary transported to Rye, New York in the 1930's. All characters have been renamed.
인간과의 공존을 꿈꾼 순수한 요정 말레피센트는 인간 스테판과 사랑에 빠진다. 하지만 권력을 탐한 스테판은 말레피센트를 희생시켜 왕관을 차지하고 그 일로 말레피센트는 인간을 미워하게 된다. 사나워진 그녀의 곁에 머무는 유일한 친구는 수족 같은 까마귀 디아발뿐이다. 그사이 스테판 왕은 인간 여자와 혼인해 오로라를 낳는다. 말레피센트는 스테판 왕에 대한 복수로 오로라에게 저주를 걸지만, 예기치 않게 그 저주로 인해 그녀는 오로라와 더 깊은 연을 맺게 되는데...
