In 1987, a group of counselors accidentally unleash a decades' old evil on the last night of summer camp.

Euskadi 1985. It's summer time, the holidays are finally here. Marcos and his three friends, José Antonio, Paquito and Toni, anxiously await a promising summer break from the fresh view of 12-year-olds who have little care for where, how or when. They will while away the hours in the maze life has prepared for them, in an old, turbulent and trembling Euskadi. A maze of painted walls, where rubber balls and dreams bounce together; all covered by a sky tinged with the grey of prefabricated concrete, where life and death no longer keep formal relationships.

In 1989, a misunderstood teenager has a high school crush — who just happens to be a handsome corpse! After a set of playfully horrific circumstances bring him back to life, the two embark on a murderous journey to find love, happiness…and a few missing body parts along the way.

Over time, Pablo witnesses some kind of strange things which happen there and make him act differently than the other students.

크게 지옥, 연옥, 천국의 세 부분으로 나뉘어져 있다. 첫번째 지옥 부분은 베트남, 크림반도, 중동, 제 2차 세계대전 등 전쟁의 여러 가지 이미지들을 조합한 화면으로 이루어져 있다. 연옥 부분은 포화로 무너진 현재의 사라예보를 보여준다. 모스타 다리 건설현장을 방문해서 보여주는 화면은 그 자체가 죄에서 용서로의 점진적 발전을 상징적으로 보여주고 있다. 천국 부분에서는 연옥 부분에서 등장했던 한 여자가 다시 등장해, 미 해군병들이 보초를 서고 있는 작은 해안가에서 평화를 찾는 모습을 보여준다.
