레바논의 베이루트 항구에 도착한 제이나는 한 달 넘게 이스라엘의 폭격을 받은 남부로 가려하지만 누구도 도와주겠다는 사람이 없다. 그 때 택시 기사, 토니가 접근해 300달러라는 큰돈을 요구하지만 다급한 제이나는 토니의 택시를 타기로 한다. 사실 제이나는 두바이에서 이혼 소송 중인데 여름 동안 여섯 살 난 아들 카림을 레바논에 사는 언니, 마하의 집에 맡겼던 것이다. 차창 밖으로는 잔혹한 폭격의 증거가 펼쳐지고 두 사람은 난민 수용소를 찾아다니며 카림과 마하를 찾는다. 하지만 수용소와 거리에서 만난 사람들이 들려주는 증언은 제니아를 더욱 불안하게 만든다. 간신히 언니의 집에 도착한 제니아는 언니는 폭격으로 죽었지만 카림은 프랑스인 기자가 데려갔다는 말을 듣고 아들을 찾기 위해 티레로 향한다. 하지만 모든 것이 폐허가 된 레바논에서는 차에 기름 넣는 것도 쉽지 않고 두 사람의 여정은 고난이 계속 된다. 온갖 우역곡절을 넘어 카림이 있다는 수도원으로 향하는 두 사람. 과연 이들은 제니아의 아들 카림을 찾을 수 있을 것인가...
In order to turn their lives around, three taxi drivers living at the bottom rung of society hatch a plan to steal an invaluable art piece. Their plan was supposed to be perfect, but as coincidences pile up it becomes clear that nothing is going to go according to plan.
