Rahul and Anu Verghese meet on the same day, while both are held by the police on charges of creating a disturbance, and running away respectively. They meet again, and love happens. Rahul helps Anu to be independent, and seek a job. Then Anu is discovered by a talent agent to be a model, which she accepts. Rahul wants to marry Anu, but first must establish himself.

Instrument is a documentary film directed by Jem Cohen about the band Fugazi. Cohen's relationship with band member Ian MacKaye extends back to the 1970s when the two met in high school in Washington, D.C.. The film takes its title from the Fugazi song of the same name, from their 1993 album, In on the Kill Taker. Editing of the film was done by both Cohen and the members of the band over the course of five years. It was shot from 1987 through 1998 on super 8, 16mm and video and is composed mainly of footage of concerts, interviews with the band members, practices, tours and time spent in the studio recording their 1995 album, Red Medicine. The film also includes portraits of fans as well as interviews with them at various Fugazi shows around the United States throughout the years.

1976년의 반(反)아파르트 헤이트 봉기의 장소로 유명한 흑인 거주 지역 소웨토에 사는 소녀 사라피나(Sarafina: 레레티 쿠마로 분)는 넬슨 만델라를 존경하고, 또 한편으로는 스타가 되기를 꿈꾸는 여학생이다. 반(反) 백인 투쟁을 하는 남학생 크로커다일이 데이트를 신청해오지만 사라피나는 투쟁하가 돌아가신 아버지에 대한 쓰라린 기억이 있기 때문에 그를 선뜻 따라나서지 못한다. 학생들의 존경을 받는 역사 선생님 메리 마솜부카(Mary Masembuko: 우피 골드버그 분)가 경찰에 의해 연행되는 사건이 발생하자, 분노한 학생들이 교정으로 뛰쳐나오고, 그중 많은 수가 군인들의 총격에 쓰러지는데 그때 크로커다일이 총에 맞아 죽는 광경을 목격하고 충격을 받은 사라피나는, 동족을 배신한 흑인 경관 사벨라(Sabela: 몽게니 네마 분)를 화형시키는 현장에 적극 참여한다. 경찰서에 끌려가 모진 고문을 당하고 나온 사라피나는 백인 하녀로 일하는 엄마를 찾아가, 묵묵히 일하며 가정을 지켜온 엄마가 진정한 영웅이라고 말하며 그동안 엄마를 업신여겼던 자기 언행에 대해 용서를 빈다. 마솜부카 선생님도 경찰들 손에 죽고, 착하기만 했던 소녀 기타아도 밀고자가 되라는 강요에 저항하다 죽어간 지금, 사라피나에게 남은 건 언젠가 만델라가 돌아오리라는 희망 뿐이다. 집에 돌아온 그녀는 마솜부카 선생님, 기타아, 크로커다일 등과 함께 계획했던 학예회 연극을 공연하는 꿈을 꾼다. 꿈 속에서 그녀는 만델라가 되어 자유의 날이 오리라는 연설을 갖는데...

Disney musical about Mother Carey, a Bostonian widow and her three children who move to Maine. Postmaster Osh Popham helps them move into a run-down old house and fixes it up for them. It's not entirely uninhabited, though; the owner, a Mr. Hamilton, is a mysterious character away in Europe, but Osh assures them he won't mind their living there, since he won't be coming home for a long time yet. Scat Sweeney, and Hot Lips Barton, two out of work musicians, stow away on board a Rio bound ship, after accidentally setting fire to the big top of a circus. They then get mixed up with a potential suicide Lucia, who first thanks them, then unexpectedly turns them over to the ship's captain. When they find out that she has been hypnotized, to go through a marriage of convenience, when the ship reaches Rio, the boys turn up at the ceremony, in order to stop the wedding, and to help catch the crooks.

A British agent's son is kidnapped and held for a ransom of diamonds. The agent finds out that he can't even count on the people he thought were on his side to help him, so he decides to track down the kidnappers himself.

Al Stewart and Wilbert are magicians doing a stage act when they run into Wilbert's cousin, Dorothy McCoy. They find out that Wilbert's grandfather, Squeeze-box McCoy, had treasure hidden in the hills of Kentucky, which they go to find.

Molly, her brother, Slats, and his pal, Oliver, are taxi dancers at the Miramar Ballroom. As a publicity stunt, Slats plants an article about Molly claiming her ambition is to earn enough money to attend staid, all-girl Bixby College. Bixby's progressive dean offers Molly a scholarship. Molly accepts on the condition that Slats and Oliver come along too as campus caretakers. But the pompous Chairman threatens to foreclose on the school's mortgage if Molly isn't expelled. Together, the trio, with the help of some new friends, concocts a scheme to raise enough money to save the school. The plan involves a bet on the Bixby basketball team, which is playing in a game rated at 20 to 1 by the local bookie. But the bookie has other plans for their dough and hires a group of ringers to step in for the opponents. All is not lost, at least while Oliver has the chance to turn things around for his friends-one way or another.

When a barnstorming stunt pilot decides to join the air corps, his two goofball assistants decide to go with him. Since the two are Abbott & Costello, the air corps doesn't know what it's in for.

Two peanut vendors at a rodeo show get in trouble with their boss and hide out on a railroad train heading west. They get jobs as cowboys on a dude ranch, despite the fact that neither of them knows anything about cowboys, horses, or anything else.

Fred and Lilli are a divorced pair of actors who are brought together by Cole Porter who has written a musical version of The Taming of the Shrew. Of course, the couple seem to act a great deal like the characters they play. A fight on the opening night threatens the production, as well as two thugs who have the mistaken idea that Fred owes their boss money and insist on staying next to him all night.
