시놉시스
David, George, and Greg, best friends since high school, are “The War Boys”. They used to perch on the US-Mexican border, waiting to spot illegal immigrants who were trying to run into the United States. Sometimes, without a thought for the immigrants, the boys chased them across the wasteland and back across the border – just for fun. It was just one of those games boys played to make themselves feel big. But high school’s over now. David is unexpectedly home from his freshman year of college and the War Boys have been reunited.
부인과 두 아이를 가장 샘(Sam Baily: 존 트라볼타 분)은 자신의 직장인 자연사 박물관 예산이 삭감되자 강제로 정리 해고를 당한다. 자신이 실업자가 됐음을 부인에게 알리지도 못하고 아침마다 출근하는 척하는 샘. 아이들 교육비 걱정에, 집세 걱정에, 절박해진 샘은 박물관 원장의 인정에 한번만 더 호소하려는 생각에서 총과 폭약을 들고 박물관에 찾아간다. 박물관엔 원장을 인터뷰하기 위해, 방송기자 맥스(Max Brackett: 더스틴 호프만 분)와 선생님을 따라온 어린이들이 견학와 있었다. 맥스 또한 한 때 예리한 감각으로 촉망받는 방송기자였지만, 순간의 실수 때문에 캘리포니아의 소도시로 발령난 일종의 좌천당한 기자로 호시탐탐 재기의 기회를 노리고 있다. 박물관 원장은 샘을 무시하기만 하고 복직에 대해선 재고의 여지도 보이지 않는다. 샘은 원장을 위협하려는 목적에서 우발적으로 총을 쏘는데 재수없게 전동료 클리프가 지나가다 총에 맞는다. 한발의 총성과 몰려든 기자들, 그리고 샘이 예상치못한 박물관에 견학온 어린이들로 샘은 순식간에 흉악무도한 인질범이 되버린다. 샘은 일자리를 얻기위해 단지 겁만 주려했던 것뿐인데, 이제 샘은 어떻게 될 것인가.

In this hour long conversation with the artist we are given entry into that process of selecting models (none of the models he uses for this book to be titled 'Private Diary' are professional, but instead are randomly chosen as Usabiaga observes athletes in action) and then allowed to follow Usabiaga and his crew as they photograph these men in natural settings and natural light.
