부동산 중개인인 주인공은 아들의 생일에 오기로 한 광대가 약속을 어기는 바람에, 자신이 중개하기로 한 집에서 우연히 발견한 광대복으로 광대복장을 하고, 아들의 생일잔치를 즐겁게 치뤄낸다. 하지만 그는, 그 날 이후로 광대복장이 벗겨지지 않아서 애를 먹기 시작을 하는데...

생일 파티에 고용된 광대가 짓궂은 아이들의 장난에 의해 죽게 된다. 몇 년 후 블랙매직의 힘을 빌어 되살아난 광대는 자신을 죽게 만든 아이들에 대한 복수를 시작한다. '킬러 광대'만큼 심야상영에 적합한 영화는 없는 것 같다. 코미디와 호러를 배합한 '킬러 광대'는 물론 예술성이 있는 작품이 아니다. 아니 오히려 철저하게 예술성을 배제한 영화라고 보면 된다. 단순히 관객들의 즐거움을 선사하기 위해 만든 이 작품은 어설프게 관객에게 의미심장한 메시지를 전달한다거나 감독의 연출력을 내보이고 싶어 하지 않는다. 처음부터 끝까지 별 생각 없이 즐기시면 되는 영화다. 그렇다고 해서 이 영화 자체가 어설프다는 이야기는 절대 아니다. 오히려 관객에게 즐거움을 선사하기 위해서 철저히 ‘배려’된 작품이다. 잔인함과 코믹함이 완벽하게 배합된 '킬러 광대'는 두 가지를 다 원하는 관객들에겐 더 없이 ‘훌륭한’ 호러 코미디다. 잔인한 장면도 많이 있으니 단순한 코미디라고 생각하시는 분들은 피해 주시길... 할로윈 밤. 술마시고 진탕 놀다 귀가하던 타라와 돈은 광대 복장의 남자와 맞닥뜨린다. 이들은 할로윈 코스프레를 한 찌질남으로 치부하지만, 그는 수년 전 세상을 떠들썩하게 만든 광대 살인마였고 할로윈 밤에 다시 돌아온 것이었다. 두 사람은 광대 살인마의 표적이 되는데...

악의 주체에 의해 부활한 아트 더 클라운은 마일즈 카운티로 돌아와 할로윈 밤에 10대 소녀와 그녀의 남동생을 사냥하고 살해한다. 시체의 수가 증가함에 따라 형제자매들은 아트 더 클라운의 악한 의도의 진면목을 들춰내면서 생존을 위해 싸운다.

어린 남매를 돌보는 베이비시터가 있는 한 가정집에서 이상한 비디오테잎을 발견한다. 아이들의 요구에 틀어보니 다큐멘터리 같은 영화는 잔인하게 사람을 살해하는 내용이었다. 오싹한 느낌에 베이비시터는 영상을 끄고 아이들이 영상을 못보게 하지만 그 이후로 집에서 이상한 일들이 일어나기 시작한다.

다섯 명의 사람들이 무작위로 납치됐다. 그들의 삶을 송두리째 앗아갈 죽음의 게임 속으로 그들은 점점 빨려 들어가게 되는데… 12 시간의 지옥 속에서 과연 누가 살아남을 것인가? 호러 천재 롭 좀비가 관객의 멘탈을 갈기갈기 찢을 영화로 돌아왔다!

어느 날, 패스트푸드점 ‘헬라버거’에 차를 몰고 온 4명의 불량 학생들이 인터콤 시스템에서 나오는 욕에 분을 참지 못하고 상대방을 찾으러 들어갔다가 ‘헬라버거’의 마스코트인 광대 ‘호니’ 에게 처참하게 살해 당하는 일이 발생한다. 한편, 그들과 같은 학교에 다니는 여학생 맥켄지는 남자친구 피셔를 포함한 친구들을 불러 파티를 하게 된다. 친구들과 파티를 하던 도중 그녀는 이상한 번호를 받게 되고 그 날 그녀의 친구들 역시 광대 호니에게 끔찍한 살해를 당하게 된다. 그 다음날 맥켄지는 이 번호가 죽은 학생들이 타고 있던 차라는 것을 알게 되고, 이후 자신을 둘러싼 친구들이 하나 둘 계속해서 영문 모를 살인의 희생양이 되어감과 동시에 그녀는 그에 대한 단서를 하나 둘 받게 된다. 그녀는 과연 살아남을 수 있을까?
