A small, out-of-the-way izakaya in Tokyo has become the favorite hangout of people searching for nourishment…for their bodies and their souls. The proprietor of Izakaya Moheji is Heiji, played by Yutaka Mizutani, star of the popular AIBOU series. Izakaya Moheji is a place where regulars and strangers alike can find comfort and comfort food.
주인공 듀드는 록큰롤을 좋아하는 청년으로 마을 경찰들이 요주의 인물로 꼽는 문제아이다. 마을의 불량배 중 듀드를 미워하는 테드는 사사건건 대립한다. 둘의 싸움은 듀드가 버린 담배 꽁초로 인해 테드의 여자친구의 머리에 불이 붙으면서 시작된다. 이후, 테디 일당은 계속해서 듀드에게 시비를 걸지만 듀드는 신경을 쓰지 않는다. 듀드의 여자친구 다나와 친구 닉서는 듀드가 화를 내지 않도록 도와준다. 그는 유치한 불량배들을 상대해야하고 아무도 자신을 알아주지않는 비관적인 현실에서 록큰롤로 스트레스를 해소해나간다. 그러나 그토록 원하던 록큰롤 그룹에 입단을 눈앞에 두고 그 그룹의 비리를 알게된 듀드는 그들을 구타하고 연주회장을 난장판으로 만드는데...
