Dominion 6.11 in Osaka-jo Hall was a professional wrestling event promoted by New Japan Pro-Wrestling (NJPW). The event took place on June 11, 2017, in Osaka, Osaka, at the Osaka-jō Hall and was the ninth event under the Dominion name and third in a row to take place at the Osaka-jō Hall.

The opening night of the 29th edition of the G1 Climax featuring A Block matches. Taking place at the American Airlines Center in Dallas, Texas, the show is headlined by Hiroshi Tanahashi vs. Kazuchika Okada.

NXT TakeOver: Brooklyn took place on August 22, 2015, in the Barclays Center of Brooklyn, New York City, New York, a day before SummerSlam was held in the same venue. This was first NXT TakeOver held outside of Full Sail University; WWE promoted it as "action featuring the next generation of WWE ... on the biggest stage yet".

Seiji and Yoshifumi are the only members of the Muto branch of the Date Family. The two respect and love their leader, Mr. Muto, like a father and the three share a firm bond. But their fate is sealed when the Family is involved in a conflict. The second night of the 29th edition of the G1 Classic which begins the B Block matches, and is being headlined by Hiroki Goto vs. Jay White in Tokyo, Japan.

Following the death of the second Tokugawa shogun, it is revealed that he was poisoned by retainers of his son Iemitsu in hopes of gaining him the shogunate despite the stammer and birthmark which undermine his respect. Iemitsu and his brother Tadanaga become bitter rivals for the shogunate, and the land is split into factions, eventually erupting into warfare. Iemitsu's mentor, his fencing instructor Yagyu, is fixated upon securing Iemitsu the shogunate and ends up betraying everyone, even his own family, in pursuit of the goal.
