좀비 역병이 돌아 수많은 사람들이 죽고 좀비가 되자 세상은 황폐해지고 소수의 인간만이 살아남아 최소한의 삶을 살아 나간다. 그러던 중 사악한 어포칼립타 마녀가 죽은 좀비들을 다시 불러내 마을을 차례로 점령하고 자신의 소유로 만들어 간다. 공격받은 마을 사람들은 마지막 남은 인류를 지키기 위해서 용감하고 싸움에 능한 전사 일곱 명을 모아 반격에 나서지만 무자비하고 짐승 같은 좀비들의 공격을 쉽게 당해낼 수가 없다. 한 번 물리면 모든 것은 끝난다. 마지막 발악의 힘으로 인류를 지켜야 한다...

프랑스 경찰국 소속 사격 교관으로 일하고 있는 20대 초반의 뱅상 밀레스. 어느 날, 뛰어난 사격 실력을 가진 밀로를 만나게 된 뱅상, 두 사람은 급속히 가까워지게 되고, 밀로는 뱅상의 우발적인 살인사건까지 비밀리에 수습해 준다. 밀로 일당은 이를 빌미로 뱅상을 협박해 은행강도 등의 범죄를 저지르고, 이를 수사하던 크리스티앙은 뱅상을 돕다 죽임을 당하게 되고 뱅상은 스스로 살인병기가 되어 밀로를 찾아내 죽여버린다.
