프랭크(쟝-끌로드 반담)는 동양무술 쿠미데 대회에 참가하기 위해 부대를 탈영, 홍콩으로 향한다. 현역 군인으로서는 대회 출전이 불가능하지만 와병 중인 사범을 기쁘게 하고, 타나카류의 명예를 떨치려는 것이 그의 목적이었다. 한편 군당국은 헬머(노먼 버튼)와 로렌스(포레스트 휘테커)에게 그의 체포를 명령한다. 대망의 쿠미데 대회가 열리고 연일 체급을 무시한 무제한적인 대전이 벌어진다. 프랭크와 잭슨(도날드 깁)은 연승을 거듭한다. 그러나 잭슨이 챔피언 자리를 5년이나 석권한 청리(양사)에게 무참히 패하고, 큰 부상을 입자 드디어 프랭크와 결승전이 벌어진다. 프랭크는 비열한 공격을 가하는 청 리에게 시력을 잃으면서까지 대응, 마침내 항복을 받아내고 월계관을 움켜쥔다

LA 시경 소속 마틴 릭스(Martin Riggs: 멜 깁슨 분)와 로저 머토(Roger Murtaugh: 대니 글로버 분) 반장은 마약 밀매범을 추격하다가 범인은 놓치고 차 트렁크에서 쏟아져 나온 남아공의 금화 크루게란드화만 단서로 얻게 된다. 그날 밤, 범인 일당은 괴한들을 로저 반장의 집에 숨어들어 겁을 주고 자기네 일에서 손을 떼라고 경고한다. 국장도 그 얘기를 듣고는 증인 보호하는 일을 두 형사에게 맡긴다. 마틴과 로저 반장은 투덜거리면서 증인인 리오(Leo Getz: 죠 페씨 분)를 만나는데, 리오가 그 마약 밀매범들과 관련되어 있다는 것을 알게 된다. 사기성이 농후한 회계사 리오는 재능을 발휘하여 마약 조직의 자금을 횡령, 조직으로부터 위협을 받는 자이다. 마약 밀매범들을 찾고보니 그들은 어엿한 남아공의 외교관들이라 면책특권 때문에 건드리지 못하고 물러난다. 한편, 마틴은 남아공 영사관의 비서 리카(Rika Van Den Haas: 팻시 켄시트 분)를 알게 되어 둘은 사랑에 빠지지만, 범인들의 추격으로 리카는 살해되고 만다.

릭스의 연인 콜과 머토프의 딸 리앤이 임신했다는 소식. 특히 리앤은 아직 결혼을 안 한 상태고, 아기의 아빠가 누구인지 비밀에 붙이고 있다. 이 둘의 개인적인 고민 앞에 떨어진 또 하나의 정의 구현 명령! 바로 아시아 범죄 조직 소탕 작전. 릭스와 머토프는 불법 이민 알선과 위조지폐 유통을 둘러싼 큰 범죄 사건을 해결하기 위해 동분서주하는데, 사건을 조사하면서 이 사건들 뒤에는 단 한 명의 배우 조종자 와 싱 쿠(이연걸 분)는 뛰어난 무술 실력으로 무장한 야심가로서 자신의 영향력과 영역을 넓혀가기 위해선 수단과 방법을 가리지않는 아주 위험한 인물이다. 릭스는 아빠가 되랴 머토프는 할아버지가 되랴, 정신이 없는 가운데 릭스와 머토프는 일생 일대 최대의 사건에 도전하는데...

터졌다하면 7층 건물 전체를 완전히 날려버릴 폭탄이 째깍째깍 소리를 내고있는데 그 앞에서 두 형사가 다툰다. 나이가 든 쪽은 폭탄 제거반이 올 때까지 기다리자는 것이고, 좀 젊고 약간 미친 것 같은 그는 당장에 폭탄을 해체하자고 한다. 결국 젊은 형사가 고집을 부려 폭탄의 연결선을 끊겠다고 나서긴 했지만 막상 복잡하게 연결된 수 십 개의 선들 중에 하나를 선택하는 순간이 되자 손이 부들부들 떨린다.

술집 여종업원인 아멘다 훤세커(Amanda Hunsaker: 잭키 스완슨 분)가 약을 복용하고 호텔 아래로 뛰어내려 죽는다. 사건을 맡게 된 로저 머터프(Roger Murtaugh: 대니 글로버 분) 형사는 50대에 들어서 은퇴도 멀지 않은 노형사인데, 아멘다가 자기의 옛 월남전 전우인 마이크 훤세커(Michael Hunsaker: 톰 엣킨스 분)의 딸이라는 것을 알고는 더욱 애석해 한다. 게다가 조수로 배정된 사람이 경찰서 내에서 말썽많기로 소문나 있고 아내를 잃은 뒤 더욱 거칠어져 물불을 안가리는 마틴 릭스(Martin Riggs: 멜 깁슨 분) 형사라는 걸 알고 심란해 한다. 로저는 아멘다의 아버지 훤세커를 만나 추궁한 끝에 훤세커가 월남전에 특수부대 요원들과 함께 마약 밀수를 했다는 사실을 알게 된다. 훤세커가 발을 빼려하자 딸을 죽인 것이다. 그러나 훤세커마저 조직에 의해 살해된다. 로저의 딸이 납치한 이들 조직은 군 출신의 장군(The General: 밋첼 라이언 분)이라는 자가 지휘하는 범죄 조직으로, 두 형사도 이들과 협상 장소로 갔다가 잡히고 만다. 하지만 불같은 릭스가 탈출하여 조직을 일망타진하고, 조직의 하수인인 죠슈아(Mr. Joshua: 게리 부시 분)와 일대일 결투를 벌여 그를 눕힌다

After thief Alex Cardo gets caught while stealing an ancient katana in East Asia, he soon finds himself imprisoned and beaten up by the crowd there. One of the guards, Demon, feels upset by Alex appearance and tortures him as often as he gets the opportunity. Alex finds a friend and mentor in the jailhouse, Master Sun, who teaches him a superior fighting style called Iron Hand. When a 'best of the best kumite' is to take place, Demon gets an invitation. Now Master Sun and Alex need to find a way to let Alex take part in the kumite too.

Yarennoka! was a MMA event that took place on December 31, 2007 at the Saitama Super Arena in Tokyo, Japan. The event was promoted by the Yarrenoka! Executive Committee, composed of former Pride Fighting Championships executives, and held in association with FEG, DEEP, and M-1 Global. It was headlined by a fight between Fedor Emelianenko and Hong-Man Choi. The undercard showcased many top lightweight fighters and was also marked by a marquee matchup of the Pride 2006 Welterweight Grand Prix Champion Kazuo Misaki and the Hero's 2006 Light Heavyweight Grand Prix Champion Yoshihiro Akiyama.The event was a farewell show to Pride fans after their acquisition by the Ultimate Fighting Championship in early 2007. It is also credited for inspiring the former Pride executives and the FEG to create the new fight series, Dream.

K-1 World MAX 2008 World Championship Tournament - Final 16 took place on Wednesday, April 9, 2008 at the Hiroshima Green Arena in Hiroshima, Japan. The Main card featured 8 Super fights with the winners qualifying for the K-1 World MAX 2008 Final 8, held on July 7, 2008 at Nippon Budokan in Tokyo, Japan.

K-1 World MAX 2003 Champions Challenge was a kickboxing event promoted by the K-1 organization. The event was held in Tokyo at the Nippon Budokan, on Tuesday, November 18, 2003. It was a one match showcase event, featuring ten world's best martial artists against Japan's top kickboxers, all fights were fought under K-1 Rules (70 kg/152 lb weight class). In total there were twenty fighters, from seven different countries. The main event featured local favourite Masato against Vince Phillips.

The inaugural show was a co-production between PRIDE Fighting Championships and K-1 held on August 28, 2002. The event was called K-1 Dynamite! by K-1 and PRIDE Shockwave by PRIDE Fighting Championships', though in Japan it was simply called Dynamite!. The live audience totaled 91,108 people, and is the largest on record for either organization or any professional fighting event.

K-1 Romanex was held in Yokohama on the 22nd May 2004 and headlined by Bob Sapp Versus Kazuyuki Fujita.

Hero's 6 was a mixed martial arts event held by the Hero's promotion on August 5, 2006 at the Ariake Coliseum in Tokyo, Japan. The quarter-finals of the 2006 Lightweight Grand Prix was held at the event. The opening round had took place at the previous event. The 2006 Light Heavyweight Grand Prix also opened at the quarter-final stage at Hero's 6.

K-1 World MAX 2006 World Championship Final was the fifth K-1 World MAX final for middleweight kickboxers (70 kg/154 lb weight class), involving eight finalists and two reserve fighters, with all bouts fought under K-1 rules. Seven of the finalists had won elimination fights at the K-1 World MAX 2005 World Tournament Open, while the eighth, Virgil Kalakoda, had been invited despite losing his elimination match. The two reserve fighters had qualified via preliminary tournaments; Artur Kyshenko had won the K-1 East Europe MAX and Rayen Simson had won the K-1 MAX Netherlands. As well as tournament matches there were also a two opening fights and two super fights fought under K-1 rules (middleweight and heavyweight).

The event took place on Monday, March 22, 2010 at the Yokohama Arena in Yokohama, Japan and featured the continuation of the Super hulk tournament and a featherweight title bout between Bibiano Fernandes and Joachim Hansen.

Dream 11 was the culmination of the Feather Weight Grand Prix, where both the Semi-Finals and Finals took place in the same night. It also featured the Semi-Finals of the Super Hulk Grand Prix 2009. Additionally, there was a championship bout: Joachim Hansen defended the Dream Lightweight Championship against WAMMA Lightweight Champion Shinya Aoki. DREAM's featherweight division has a 63 kilograms (139 lb) weight limit.

Pride Critical Countdown 2005 was a mixed martial arts event held by the Pride Fighting Championships. This event held the second round of the Pride Middleweight tournament. It took place at the Saitama Super Arena in Saitama, Japan, on June 26th, 2005.

Dynamite!! 2009 was a mixed martial arts and kickboxing events promoted by FEG, held in the Saitama Super Arena in Saitama, Japan on December 31, 2009. The event included bouts that encompass the DREAM, Sengoku Raiden Championship, K-1, and K-1 World MAX banners. The event had the conclusion of the U18 K-1 KOSHIEN 62 kg Class Tournament. The Final Four, as decided from eight participants at K-1 World MAX 2009 World Championship Tournament Final in October, faced off in a one-night tournament to decide the K-1 KOSHIEN 2009 Champion. Also, the conclusion of the DREAM Super Hulk tournament was held.

K-1 World MAX 2007 - Japan Tournament - took place on February 5, 2007 at the Ariake Coliseum in Kōtō, Tokyo, Japan. The Main card featured eight-man elimination tournament format, winner qualifying for K-1 World MAX 2007 World Tournament Final Elimination and 2 Super fights with the opening ceremony featuring 3 extra matches. The K-1 World Max 2007 Japan Tournament attracted a crowd of 8,961 to the Ariake Coliseum and was broadcast live across Japan on the TBS

Pride Total Elimination 3 was a mixed martial arts event held by Pride Fighting Championships. This event marked the first round of the Middleweight tournament. It took place on April 23rd, 2005, at the Osaka Dome in Osaka, Japan.

Dynamite!! 2008 was the annual kickboxing and mixed martial arts event held on December 31, 2008, at the Saitama Super Arena in Saitama, Japan. It featured eleven DREAM mixed martial arts rules fights in a variety of weight classes, four K-1 rules fights, and the inaugural K-1 KOSHIEN Under 18 high school tournament.

DREAM.8: Welter Weight Grand Prix 2009 First Round was a MMA event promoted by FEG promotion Dream on April 5, 2009. Unlike Dream's past tournaments, the Welter Weight Grand Prix is only scheduled to have eight participants. DREAM's welterweight division has a 76 kilograms (168 lb) weight limit.

Hero's Lithuania 2005 was a mixed martial arts event held by the Hero's promotion on November 26, 2005 at the Siemens Arena in Vilnius, Vilnius. This was the first event held by Hero's in Lithuania.

K-1 PREMIUM 2004 Dynamite!! was held by K-1 on New Year's Eve, Friday, December 31, 2004 at the Osaka Dome in Osaka, Japan. It featured 7 K-1 MMA rules fights, 3 K-1 rules fights, and a special mixed K-1 & MMA Rules fight. The event attracted a sellout crowd of 52,918 to the Osaka Dome. In the main event, Royce Gracie defeated Sumo legend Akebono in a K-1 MMA Rules match.

Hero's 5: 2006 Lightweight Grand Prix Opening Round was a mixed martial arts event held by the Hero's promotion on May 3, 2006 at the Yoyogi National Gymnasium in Tokyo, Japan. The opening round of the 2006 Lightweight Grand Prix was held at the event. Originally, Gilbert Melendez was scheduled to compete in the Grand Prix but was forced out with a leg injury and replaced by Rani Yahya. Also, Yoshihisa Yamamoto was set to face Wakashoyo at the event but was ordered by doctors not to compete due to a strained back. Kazuhiro Hamanaka took his place instead.

K-1 World MAX 2008 World Championship Tournament - Final took place on October 1, 2008 at the Nippon Budokan Arena in Tokyo, Japan. It was the 7th annual K-1 World Max (70kg/154lbs weight class) World Championship Final, featuring four quarter final winners of K-1 World MAX 2008 Final 8 held on July 7, 2008 in Tokyo, Japan.The card also included a couple of tournament reserve bouts, two Superfights between Takayuki Kohiruimaki vs Joerie Mes and Nieky Holzken vs. Virgil Kalakoda, the ISKA World Lightweight Title Match plus the quarterfinals in K-1's new Koshien King of U-18 series . The four quarter final winners of the K-1 Koshien bouts would qualify for the semi finals at the Dynamite!! 2008 event.
