거대한 컴퓨터 게임회사 부사장 딜리건은 천재 프로그래머 플린의 아이디어를 훔쳐 오늘날의 지위를 얻어낸 음흉한 자이나 그를 돕는 메인 컴퓨터의 고성능 기능으로 전체 군주로 군림한다. 그러나 이에 의혹을 품은 젊은 프로그래머 알렌은 정보를 얻어내기 위해 제작한 프로그램 트론을 메인 컴퓨터가 삼켜버리자 플린에게 도움을 요청한다. 그러나 정보에 접근하려던 플린마저 컴퓨터에 먹혀버리고 컴퓨터 세계로. 플린은 프로그래머들이 만든 프로그램들이 사람처럼 간주되어 죽음의 경기를 펼치고 있음을 보게된다. 플린은 이 컴퓨터 세계에서 최고의 전사로 되어있는 트론과 힘을 합쳐 딜리건의 메인 통제 컴퓨터와 전쟁을 벌인다. 치열한 컴퓨터 전쟁끝에 메인통계 컴퓨터를 부수고 딜기건의 흉악한 음모를 밝혀낸다.

미국에서 자란 유태인 조나단은 나치로부터 할아버지를 구해준 인물을 찾아 우크라이나로 향한다. 그를 안내해 줄 가이드는 장님인 체 하는 괴팍한 노인과 영어에 서툰 알렉스, 그리고 사나운 똥개 새미 데이비스 주니어 주니어. 채식주의자이고 개 공포증이 있는 조나단은 유태인과 미국인을 싫어하는 가이드와 함께 할아버지의 숨겨진 과거를 찾아 떠난다.

뱁스 존슨(디바인)과 "지구상에서 가장 지저분한 사람들"이라고 알려진 그녀 가족들의 역겨운 인생은 경쟁 커플 마블즈의 공격을 받고 산산조각 난다. 마블즈는 "가장 지저분한 사람들"이라는 타이틀을 차지하고 싶어한다. 갑작스럽게 나타난 마블즈는 젊은 여성을 납치해 임신시키고 그 아기를 레즈비언 커플에게 파는 범죄를 저지르며 지저분한 커플이라는 타이틀에 알맞은 인물이라는 것을 합법적으로 주장할 자격이 있음을 보이는 한편 거기서 더 나아가 뱁스에 대한 공격을 개시한다. 우편으로 똥을 보내고 그녀의 트레일러 집을 태워버리는 것이다. 분노의 반격을 시도한 뱁스와 그 일가는 마블즈를 추적하여 그들을 기소하며 가장 너저분한 신문사들을 모아놓고 기자회견을 연후 그들을 총살한다. 워터스와 디바인의 명성을 확고하게 한 마지막 장면에서 뱁스,디바인은 개가 방금 싸놓은 배설물을 먹으면서 자신이 불결의 여왕임을 증명한다.

Three friends mysteriously receive a suitcase containing three real lightsabers. After deciding to try them out, they venture to a near by tennis court in the dead of night for some dueling -- when they discover that they aren't the only ones with lightsabers.
