Back in Town is George Carlin's ninth HBO special. It was also released on CD on September 17, 1996. This was also his first of many performances at the Beacon Theater in New York City. He rants about Abortion, The death penalty, prison farms, fart jokes, free floating hostility and words.

아내를 마약판매상의 손아귀에 빼앗긴 뒤 평범한 남성이던 주인공은 슈퍼 히어로 크림슨 볼트로 변신한다. 초능력을 갖고 있지는 않지만 크림슨 볼트는 세상을 위해 활동하겠다고 다짐한다. 수퍼히어로 블록버스터만큼이나 이제는 주된 장르로 자리잡은 ‘어눌한 수퍼히어로’ 영화인 "수퍼"는 평범한 현대인의 일상에 대한 날카로운 풍자를 수퍼히어로 영화에 대한 일종의 패러디로 담아낸다. 스매쉬 히트를 기록한 독립 코미디영화 "주노"의 두 스타인 레인 윌슨, 엘렌 페이지가 다시 의기투합한 영화. "아마게돈"의 리브 타일러의 모습도 반갑다.

This is a great performance. Through yelling and energetic story-telling, he talks about marriage, drugs, being arrested (thanks to his ex-wife), pleasing women, religion, and much, much more.

A physician who helps his clients bring new life into the world is accused of an ethical breach that's also criminal in this independent drama. Dr. Freeman (Colm Feore) is a doctor who runs an upscale fertility clinic in Las Vegas, Nevada. Freeman specializes in helping women who have had trouble getting pregnant conceive, usually through artificial insemination techniques or transplanting donated eggs into his patients. Over the course of several weeks, Freeman inseminates nine women from different walks of life, eight become pregnant and give birth to healthy children, but when the new mothers compare notes, they discover their children bear a striking resemblance to one another...

헝가리의 거장 피테르 바쵸의 대표작이지만 당시 헝가리의 사회주의 체제를 통렬히 비판한 탓에 제작한 뒤 10년여 간 상영금지됐던 작품. 한 소시민이 부당한 이유로 거듭 감옥에 끌려가고 곤란한 상황에 놓인다.

임페리얼 커피 컴퍼니의 판매사원인 믹 트래비스는 사원교육에서 진심 어린 미소로 좋은 평가를 받는다. 이로 인해 트래비스는 다른 사원들보다 빨리 실전에 투입되어 동북부 지역의 판매를 담당하게 된다. 하지만 커피 판매는 생각처럼 쉽지 않고, 트래비스는 예상치 못한 사건들에 휘말리게 된다. 1950년대 영국 프리시네마의 기수 앤더슨의 작품으로, 초현실적인 분위기가 가득한 코믹 판타지. 앤더슨은 트래비스의 파란만장한 세일즈 여정 속에서 자본주의의 허상을 짚어본다. 원안의 아이디어는 트래비스 역의 말콤 맥도웰의 경험에서 시작되었다고 한다.

When New York attorney Gordon Hocheiser meets Louise Callan, the girl of his dreams, he schemes to eliminate his aging, senile mother, even though he promised his late father that he'd always take care of her. He fears that his batty mom's eccentricities will shortly lead to Louise's departure.

The crooks in London know how it works. No one carries guns and no one resists the police. Then a new gang appears that go one better. They dress as police and steal from the crooks. This upset's the natural order of the police/criminal relationship and the police and the crooks join forces to catch the IPOs (Impersonating Police Officers), including an armoured car robbery in which the police must help the gangs to set a trap.

부산에서 일본으로 보트를 타고 밀수품 심부름을 하는 형구(하정우 분)는 일본의 사업가 보경 아저씨에게 김치를 배달하며 충성을 다한다. 일본에 갈 때 마다 그를 맞이하는 토오루는 형구가 갖고 온 김치독을 애지중지 하는데 어느 날, 형구는 김치독 아래에 숨겨진 마약을 발견하게 되고 자신이 아주 위험한 일에 가담했다는 사실을 알게 되는데…. 지금까지 마약을 배달했다는 사실을 알게 되면서 불안과 혼란 속에 있던 그는 이번에는 보경아저씨가 납치한 여자를 배달하라는 임무를 하달 받는다. 그리고 토오루는 형구를 감시하라는 명령을 지시 받게 되고, 두 사람 사이에 은밀한 거래가 시작된다.

Matias is a soccer referee. He promised his dying mother never to lie. When he referees a match of the spanish national team and there is a clear penalty against Spain in the last minute of the game he has no choice and marks the foul. As a result Spain does not qualify for the world championship and Matias is forced to escape from the rage of the people. He hides in the town of his father which he hasn't visited since his childhood.

영국에 사는 덜 떨어진 무슬림 네 명이 앉아서 순교 비디오를 촬영하고 있다. 이들은 자살폭탄을 가지고 순교를 해서 경각심을 불러일으키기로 하고 모인 자칭 무슬림 테러리스트 지하디들. 직접적인 자살테러 행동으로 비 이슬람권에 무슬림을 알리려는 오마는 파키스탄 훈련캠프에서 정식으로 교육을 받고자 와지와 함께 떠나지만 조직에서 좌충우돌 사고만 치고 이내 도망 오고야 만다. 한편 배리와 파이잘은 그간 모아왔던 표백제를 이용, 폭탄으로 만들어 이슬람(모스크)사원을 폭파 시키려는 계획을 세운다. 배리는 무슬림 사원을 폭파시킴으로 인해 전 세계의 무슬림들이 봉기하는 사태를 만들려고 하나 오마의 반대로 런던 마라톤 대회를 타겟으로 하게 된다. 테러를 위해 많은 준비를 하지만 그들의 계획과는 다르게 모든게 원치 않는 방향으로 자꾸만 틀어지게 되는데…
