세계에서 모인 무술 고수들이 '모탈 컴뱃'이라는 무술대회에 참가하기 위해 홍콩의 한 부두에서 분위기도 으스스한 배를 탄다. 무술대회의 목적은 외계의 괴물들이 지구를 침공할 권리를 부여받느냐의 여부를 결정하는 것. 지구를 지키기 위해 떨쳐나선 무술인들 중에는 중국의 사찰에서 무술을 연마하며 성장한 류 캉, 홍콩의 여경찰관 소냐, 그리고 액션 영화 배우 자니 케이지가 있으며, 그들을 돕는 초인적 존재는 번개신 라이덴이라 불리는 반인반신이다. 한편, 사악하고 간교한 마법사 샹 청의 지휘를 받는 외계의 싸움꾼들은 지하범죄왕 케이노, 팔이 넷 달린 괴물 고로, 초자연적인 힘을 가진 얼음 귀신과 전갈 귀신 등이고, 외계의 왕족이며 황위계승권을 가진 10,000살 먹은 키타나 공주는 어느 편인지 애매모호하다. 외계를 대표하는 싸움꾼들은 대회 전날부터 막강한 힘을 선보이지만, 막상 대회가 시작되자 소냐가 케이노의 목을 부러뜨려 승리하고, 케이지는 전갈 귀신을 물리치며 류는 키타나 공주와 비기는 싸움을 한다. 사실 키타나 공주는 일부러 비긴 것으로 그녀는 류에게 다음 싸움에서 얼음귀신을 이길 수 있는 비법을 알려준다. 대회가 계속되면서 마침내 케이지가 천하무적으로 일컬어지던 고로를 물리치고, 이에 충격을 받은 샹 청은 소냐를 외계로 납치해간다. 번개신의 조언을 들을 후 외계로 쫓아간 류와 케이지는 그곳에서 키타나 공주의 도움을 받는다. 류는 샹 청에게 도전하여 대회의 승패를 결정하는 최후의 대결에서 승리하고, 키타나 공주는 괴물 황제에게 빼앗겼던 외계의 통치권을 회복한다. 지구로 돌아온 류, 케이지, 소냐는 번개신과 만나 승리를 축하하지만, 그들의 기쁨도 잠시뿐, 영생불멸의 존재인 괴물황제가 주궁의 사원탑을 부수며 나타난다.

일본에서 만든 < Lone Wolf>라는 TV 시리즈가 미국에서 인기를 끌자, 이 시리즈를 영화화한 작품.

The country of Iga is deep in the throws of war. With smaller villages falling one by one, the largest families are in position to vie for their share of the power. 2대의 거인이 난동을 부린다는 이야기를 들은 아바레인저. 출동하여 확인하니, 두 거인은 허리케인저의 로봇인 선풍신과 굉뢰신이었다. 에볼리언과 손을 잡은 자칸자의 생존자 프라비 죠와 웬디누가 로봇을 빼앗았기 때문이다. 어렵게 두 로봇을 격퇴한 아바레인저. 하지만 프라비 죠와 웬디누가 사닌 이가의 봉인을 풀어버리고 만다. 이가와 아바레인저의 싸움에 뒤늦게 허리케인저가 참가하며 싸움은 더욱 거세진다.

Ninpuu Sentai Hurricaneger vs. Gaoranger is the team-up movie between Ninpuu Sentai Hurricaneger and Hyakujuu Sentai Gaoranger. This can easily fit in between after Sixth Spear, Satarakura and Shurikenger's introduction and before Third Spear, Manmaruba's original death and Super Karakuri Beast Revolver Mammoth's introduction. The only continuity error is the appearance of Manmaruba's motorcycle since his later clone was the one who used it in the series.

One of sixteen great warriors of Tokugawa, Hattori Hanzo, entrusts his wish and gathers the remnants of Iga Village, which was destroyed by Oda Nobunaga, and orders them to guard Princess Fuji. The Council of Elders of Sunekazura, hire the Fuma Ninja led by Fuma Kotaro, joined by the Koga Ninja, led by Sarutobi Sasuke, who is serving Hideyoshi Toyotomi, to assassinate Princess Fuji! Can Hanzo Hattori with the Iga remnants prevent this evil plot and protect the princess? Once again, Shinichi "Sonny" Chiba plays the leading role of Hanzo Hattori with his old enemy, Sarutobi Sasuke, played by Hiroki Matsukata. The presence of both famous actors will overwhelm any audience!

Iga ninja led by Hattori Hanzo took back Princess Fuji who was kidnapped by Fuma Clan at the end of the war. However, there were three of them - one being the real Princess Fuji and the others doubles. Not knowing which is the real one, the Iga ninja has no choice but to separate into three teams to deliver the princess to her wedding. The evil hands of the Fuma and the Koga are trying to reach Princess Fuji and the Iga ninja. Their difficult journey has begun.

The tale takes place around 1650, after the death of the third Tokugawa shogun, when ronin were expelled from Edo, the military capital. During the political instability following the death of Iemitsu Tokugawa, Hanzo's Iga ninja clan battles against the Koga clan as various factions vie to seize power. The child shogun Ietsuna is kidnapped but turns out to be hidden under (or over) everyone's noses in a castle turret which is reinforced by a comic book villain, the fire-spitting black ninja. The good ninja has to get through all the traps & save the child.

Jun Terada is a producer in the year 2076 and is trying to convince the president of Magical TV to allow her to create her life's work, Chō Ninja Tai Inazuma!, based on the long-standing legend of a legendary lightning that bestows powers upon those struck by it. However, because the show is to be the 100th anniversary of the Hyper Hero Team Series" , it must be a first for the 100-year-long franchise. President Mishima convinces her to turn it into a reality show by traveling back to 1720 in the Edo period and picking three extremely inept locals and force them through humiliating training to become ninja.

In Osaka during the Edo period, ruler Sanada Yukimura was in losing position, fearing Toyotomi's blood descendents would end, he impregnates one of five Shinano female ninja with the seed of Toyotomi Hideyoshi in hopes of continuing the bloodline. Princess Sen and the five female ninja escape from Osaka castle by blending in with the handmaidens. Lord Tokugawa Ieyasu who was supposed to rule all under the heavens was informed of this secret. So Ieyasu orders five samurai of the Iga Ninja clan (brought by Hattori Hanzo) to stop the Toyotomi bloodline by killing the Kunoichi ninja. An attack of ninja magic arts unfolds in a battle of the sexes.

On his maiden trip to Japan, a Samurai-obsessed American named Frank is taken to a local, hole-in-the-wall bar by his friend, Hiro. After being rejected by the first local girl he speaks to, Frank feels down on his luck, and to console him, the bartender offers him a drink called Absinthe in a bright green glowing bottle. To help console his friend, Hiro drinks the bottle with Frank, and the two of them promptly pass out. Together they wake up in Edo-era Japan, and are taken through a comedic time slip action frenzy where they have to work together to battle both samurai and ninja to find their way back home.
