찰리는 마지막 남은 크리터스 알 2개를 우주로 보내려다 함께 갇혀 우주로 날아가게 된다. 마침 5명의 일행이 탄 우주선이 오라이온 행성을 향해 가던 중 찰리의 캡슐을 발견하고 끌여들인다. 캡슐 속의 내용물을 알지 못하는 우주 선원들은 송신된 테라코 지도자의 제안대로 캡슐을 팔고자 테라코 소유의 44번 우주 정거장에 착륙한다. 그러나 선장은 캡슐을 부수게 되고 부화한 크리터스가 선장을 죽이고 정거장 내부로 침입한다. 거기서 승무원 중의 한 사람 이단과 찰리의 만남이 이루어지고 이단은 찰리를 따라 크리터스의 멸종에 가담하게 된다. 일행 중의 한 사람이 크리터스에게 죽음을 당하자 총비상에 들어가지만 계속 쫓기는 신세가 된다. 방사능 오염으로 여러층이 폐쇄된 가운데 테라코의 지도자 어그가 나타난다. 처음의 제안은 아랑곳하지 않고 크게 변해 있는 그는 오히려 일행에게 총을 들이대고 반항하던 한 명을 죽이기까지 한다. 크리터스의 보존을 위해 캡슐 속의 알을 찾는 것을 안 이단은 크리터스 알을 깨트려버리고, 어그의 일행과 격투를 벌이게 된다. 마침내 찰리가 어그를 사살하고, 일행은 핵오염으로 정거장이 폭발하기 몇초전 구사일생으로 그곳을 탈출하는데 성공한다.
