At the end of the 1980s, Stella, Victor, Adèle and Etienne are 20 years old. They take the entrance exam to the famous acting school created by Patrice Chéreau and Pierre Romans at the Théâtre des Amandiers in Nanterre. Launched at full speed into life, passion, and love, together they will experience the turning point of their lives, but also their first tragedy.

In the late 19th century, a young Danish priest travels to a remote part of Iceland to build a church and photograph its people. But the deeper he goes into the unforgiving landscape, the more he strays from his purpose, the mission and morality.

In the year 2000, Maixabel Lasa’s husband, Juan Maria Jauregi, was killed by ETA. 타이틀롤을 맡은 주인공 EO(당나귀 울음소리에서 착안한 이름)는 동물보호단체에 의해 서커스단으로부터 ‘구조’된다. 이어서 우리는 EO가 농장에서 일하고, 훌리건들에 의해 축구팀 마스코트로 끌려 다니고, 소시지 공장에서 탈출하고, 머나먼 이탈리아의 저택까지 이르는 여정을 따라가게 된다. 동물의 눈으로 바라본 세상은 참으로 낯설고 위협적이며, EO가 거치는 고난의 행군은 예수의 수난에 비견될 만하다.

The story centres on a group of teenagers street cast in their neighbourhood and selected to play in a feature film during the summer. The film tells the story of this film shoot and of the connections that will be formed during it.
