′맴′이라는 여성의 젊은 시절과 노년의 모습을 번갈아가며 보여준다. 1960년대 젊은 날의 맴은 두 남자로부터 구애를 받는 매력적인 아가씨였다. 결국 냉혈하고 야심찬 군 장교와 결혼하게 되는 그녀. 그러나 시간이 흐른 지금 서슬 퍼렇던 남편은 온종일 침상에 누워 누군가의 간호 없이는 살 수 없는 존재가 되었다. 본인도 늙고 많은 것을 잃어버렸지만 묵묵히 남편 곁을 지키는 맴. (제26회 부산국제영화제)
갈 곳 잃은 자들의 무덤이 되어주는 숲에는 땅에 묻힌 이들의 꿈이 각양각색의 원석이 되어 빛나고 있다. 땅에서 나는 원석의 소리를 듣고 그것을 캐내는 한 어부가 어느 날 반쯤 묻혀 죽어가는 사람을 구해낸다. 어부는 말을 하지 못하는/않는 그에게 통차이라는 이름을 주고 돌보며, 물에서 ‘음’ 소리와 함께 호흡하는 법도 가르친다. 과연 어부는 원석의 소리를 듣는 것처럼 통차이가 내는 무언의 소리를 들을 수 있었던 것일까? 난민이 죽고, 군대가 머물며, 소리 소문 없이 사람이 묻히고 있는 바닷가 마을의 숲에는 이루지 못한 꿈의 빛깔들이 내는 소리로 가득하고, 어둠이 깔렸을 때는 누구도 감히 그것을 확인하러 올 엄두를 내지 못한다. 다양한 원석들이 반짝이며 온 숲을 가득 채우고 우는 소리는 못다 이루고 죽어간 이들이 여전히 내뱉고 있는 호흡일지도 모른다. 원석에 이끌려 다가온다는 바다의 쥐가오리(만타 레이)만이 묻혀버린 자들의 좌절과 꿈의 실체를 두려워하지 않고 다가와 확인할 수 있는 것일까?
Laila leaves Bangkok, besieged by law enforcement due to political and social unrest, and embarks on a road trip to the town of Pattani, in the far south of Thailand, along with her brother Sugood and Toi, a friend of his, to visit Sainab, the brothers' aunt, whom they barely know.
Masterfully filmed, atmospheric moment. The period of mourning comes to an end at a temple-like funeral chapel. The final visitors are not mourners, but want to buy off their guilt. The mother wants to see a real confession. And money. The intense emotionality the death of a child evokes is, as it were, sculpted in space while the tension between the mother and the visitors is captured more subliminally by a roving camera.
A young woman leaves her hometown of Bangkok to visit her fiancé’s family on their isolated farm. Although the family embrace her, she doubts if she will ever adapt to their rural lifestyle.

During the filming in a small seaside town, Zoe, his American girlfriend from University, arrives for a week-long visit. But the change of country takes its toll and she soon becomes frustrated with the situation. Meanwhile, Ananda meets another girl on the beach.
