Chino Valdez is a loner horse breeder living in the old west. Partly a loner by choice, and partly because, being a 'half-breed', he finds himself unwelcome almost everywhere he goes. One day, a young runaway named Jimmy shows up at his door looking for work and a roof over his head. Reluctantly, Chino agrees to take him in and teach him the art of raising, breaking and breeding horses, until the pair finally begin to accept each other.

A man has had a werewolf curse cast upon him. If he doesn't get rid of it, he turns into a killer werewolf when the moon is full.

Dale and Helen Brais are a marriage of farmers who subsist on what little they manage to get from their land. One stormy night, a stranger enters their home to rob and Dale kills him incidentally. Although the title (which translates as "Murders in Chicago") promises a gangster story, this is more of a murder mystery that kicks off with the seemingly accidental death of a construction worker, followed shortly after by that of a noted publisher (an uneasy-looking Eduardo Fajardo). What follows is a very confusing story in which the police, a police coroner (José Campos) and a vagrant (Fernando Sánchez Polack) who witnessed Fajardo's death embark on separate inquests on what actually happened. Meanwhile, June (María Luisa Rubio), who works as a secretary for the publishing company, is under pressure by a blackmailer (Antonio Jiménez Escribano) who has pictures of her in the sack with the deceased publisher.

A celebrated cabaret singer, Rosa Lucena, is accused of killing Miguel, her dance partner. She is arrested, but not finding sufficient evidence of guilt, the judges decide to investigate her past, when Rosa and Miguel acted in a theater in Madrid and she fellin love with a young doctor, leaving his career for him. This situation has a direct impact on Miguel, which fails miserably with the withdrawal of his partner.

Roberto decides to ask for permission at the office because he suspects his wife has a lover and wants to catch her. A friend of the protagonist offers to investigate the woman with the intention of giving sufficient evidence of thedeception. However, he soon discovers that his wife knows his plans.

Two girl detectives known as "Labios Rojos" ("Red Lips") outwit both criminals and a bumbling police inspector.

Dawn in Madrid. In the Plaza de la Cibeles begins the daily grind. The statue of the goddess, from its source in the center of the square tells the story of a man, petty speculator, owner of an old building that is going to ask Saint Nicholas for his cooperation to make it sink, and thus be able to lift a twelve-story modern building. But the inhabitants of the block have also implored the Saint to prevent this from happening.

Year 1860. Rosa Maria, daughter of a wealthy Cuban landowner, is studying at a convent school in Cadiz and requests to return to Cuba after spending many years in Spain. But now the economic situation of his father is disastrous and therefore he tries to delay the return of his daughter, hiding that fact. Rosa Maria knows nothing and, at the refusal of his father, she runs away from school, embarking as a stowaway on a ship bound for home.
