인도네시아에서 붙잡힌 거대한 고릴라가 전시장소로 가는 도중, 선체를 탈출하고 인천 해변에 다다른다. 먼저 고릴라는 인천 해변으로부터 인천시를 휩쓸고 촬영 온 미국 여배우 마릴린을 스키장에서 사로잡는다. 고릴라의 손아귀에서 마릴린은 고릴라와 함께 서울의 한강까지 휩쓸며 지나간다. 출동해서 줄곧 고릴라를 추적하던 기동대는 모든 장비를 동원해 거대한 고릴라를 쓰러뜨린다. 쓰러지는 순간 마릴린은 킹콩에 의해 안전지대로 놓여지게 되며 불덩이가 된 킹콩은 처절한 울음으로 한강의 수심으로 가라 앉는다. 그와의 싸움은 끝났지만 마릴린은 인간의 무엇이 그를 그의 땅에 내버려두지 않았는가에 대해 생각한다.
