John
The intertwined stories of an international Don in Malaysia, David Billa, chased by the cops, an Indian police officer, a woman who wants to avenge the death of her brother, and a lowly thief, Velu who shares with Billa, an unusual connection.
Vijay (Arjun) is a hitman who works for Sundaramoorthy (Radha Ravi). He kills anybody for a price, other than women and children and he lives alone in an apartment. Pooja (Pooja), a young girl, studies in a boarding school and comes to her father's house for the holiday. Between her abusive father, selfish stepmother and an arrogant step-aunt, Pooja feels rather badly but she treasures her lovely little brother Dinesh (Mahanadi Dinesh). Pooja tries to befriend with Vijay but Vijay is not interested. Her father is a drug smuggler. One day, a corrupt police officer Jayanth (Raghuvaran) kills Pooja's family including her brother. Vijay decides to accommodate Pooja and Pooja compels him to teach her his skills as a hitman. What transpires later forms the crux of the story.
Dharma
Karunamurthy (Kitty) an honest man and the Home Minister of the state of Tamil Nadu is forced to help the terrorists to kill the Governor. Nethaaji (Sarathkumar) a journalist and a press owner runs a newspaper called 'India'. He comes to know that the Home Minister is involved in the Governor's murder and tries to investigate it. In the course of his investigation he too gets involved with the terrorists and is forced to kidnap the scientist Shivashankari. Now the police are out to get Nethaaji. Nethaaji runs from pillar to post to prove himself innocent. Will he be able to prove himself innocent? Will he be able to expose the sinister plans of the terrorists, or will he pay the prize for a crime which he never committed?
Vijay, a carefree and frolicsome youth, is sent by his father Deenadayalan in Ooty to work and becoming a responsible businessman. There, he falls in love with the college student Anjali. Her brothers are dangerous criminals and they are against their love because Vijay's father is a police officer. Thereafter, Devaraj is sent to jail so his brother appoints the lawyer Karnaa who is disabled and a sensitive person. Later, Karnaa falls in love with the school teacher Amudha, after few quarrels between both. One day, Deenadayalan saw Karnaa at the court who looks like his son Vijay. In the past, he had twin boys, but abandoned one of the twin baby because he was disabled. Karnaa is upset when he knew the truth and is now determined to win the case in front of his father.
Nambiyatri
Raghu, an atheist archaeologist, and his father goes to an isolated village for research, his father disappears mysteriously and Raghu finds out a strange prophecy : God will come to earth on Purnima day at the Nagakali Amman temple and the people who will submerge completely under the waterfall near the temple will be cured of any disease. His colleague Pathma informs her blind Journalist friend Divya and the news reaches the public. Pathma is in love with Naveen, in the final stages of cancer. Soon, an atheist terrorist group, led by Saravanan, try to destroy the temple. Saravanan's sister and brother-in-law were brutally killed by the temple's donor. Police officer Hari, Divya's brother, is charged with eradicating the terrorist group. Pathma believes in this prophecy, gets married to Naveen and takes him to the temple. Divya compels Hari to come with him to restore her sight and he agrees. A race against the clock starts.
