Mio Meguro (Fuka Koshiba) continues her dream of becoming a writer, while living with yokai (folklore monsters) in a share house. She struggles in her job in the editorial department of a publishing company. She proposes plans at her company, but her plans are rejected. A popular AI dating app has become popular, but Mio Meguro isn't interested because of her work. One day, Mio Meguro meets genius mathematician AITO (Ayumu Mochizuki), who was raised in England. She falls in love with him, but her love causes problems for the share house and yokai.

허름한 상가에 위치한 편의점에서 일하고 있는 프리터족 나카츠(히가시데 마사히로)는 편의점에서 무단으로 잡지를 읽고 있는 토시다(쿠보타 마사타카)를 만나게 된다. 니트족인 토시다는 속옷 도둑에 변태인 주제에 특별한 재능이 있었고, 그것을 알아본 나카츠는 토시다에게 거리를 청소하는 히어로가 되자고 제의를 한다. 그렇게 결성한 두 사람의 첫 번째 임무. 노숙자를 괴롭히는 불량배들과 싸우는 두 사람. 그때 일명 '젊은이 폭행범'으로 불리는 쿠사키(카타오카 츠루타로)가 나타나고 두 사람의 일전을 벌이게된다. 그러나 나카츠의 설득에 쿠사키까지 팀으로 합류하게 되고, 다음 날 그들이 폭력배와 싸우는 것을 본 여고생 카오리(고마츠 나나)까지 합류하게 되면서 팀은 네 명으로 늘어난다. 그리고 자신들이 처치한 사람들을 위에다 메달아 놓는 사람들을 언론에서는 '매달기범'이라 부르며, 그들은 주변 마을의 신드롬이 되어간다. 그러던 중 매달기범을 회사로 만들자는 쿠사키는 노숙자였던 우노(후나코시 에이이치로)를 사장으로 앉히게 되면서부터, 그들의 행동은 사회정의를 실현하려던 나카츠의 뜻과는 달리 흘러가게 되는데.
