A TV movie directed by Bob Mahoney. Based on the book by Dick Lee & Colin Pratt it tells the true story of a long running Police investigation which resulted in the arrests of 120 people and jail sentences of 170 years for the manufacture and distribution of £100M of LSD.
The Doctor arrives on a planet where two tribes, the savage Sevateem and the technically brilliant Tesh, are at war. He meets Leela, an exile from the Sevateem, and discovers that the tribes' god of evil is apparently himself...
도널드 캠멜과 공동으로 연출한 로그의 감독 데뷔작으로 본인이 촬영을 맡았다. 60년 말 런던을 배경으로 조직의 위협을 피해 록스타 터너(믹 재거)의 집에 숨은 악당 채스(제임스 폭스)가 겪는 기이한 이야기로 1967년 완성되었으나 난해하고 퇴폐적인 내용 때문에 영화사 창고에 쳐 박혀 있다 1970년 개봉되었다. 1960년대 섹스, 마약, 록큰롤 음악의 히피문화를 조롱하는 이 영화는 제임스 폭스의 뛰어난 연기와 더불어 섹스와 마약에 찌든 록스타 터너, 믹 재거- 마흔 살이 되었을 때도 매혹적이었던 - 의 퍼포먼스를 보는 즐거움이 크다.
