미국에서 연애를 했던 남자를 찾아 부다페스트로 온 여자가 있다. 신경외과 전문의로 학회에서 만난 헝가리 남자 의사와 사랑에 빠진 뒤 다시 만날 약속을 한다. 부다페스트의 어느 다리에서 오후 5시에 만나자는 약속. 로맨틱한 환상을 갖고 그 장소를 찾아가지만 남자는 나타나지 않는다. 여자는 남자의 병원까지 찾아가지만 막상 만난 남자는 여자를 모른 척한다. 나는 정말 이 남자를 사랑한 적이 있는가? 정신과 상담까지 받으면서 여자는 남자 주변을 맴돈다. 둘의 관계는 이제 새롭게 시작된다.

이 이야기는 루마니아 혁명의 혼란 속에서 1989년에 시작된다. 13살 소녀 줄리가 트란실바니아의 광산촌 발란에서 사라진다. 22년 후, 그녀의 형제 페터는 브라소프시에서 경찰로서 인신매매 사건을 조사하고 있다. 그가 구하는 모든 소녀에서 그의 여동생을 본다. 어느 날 고향인 발란에서 죽은 소녀의 시신이 얼려진 채로 발견되었다는 것을 알게 된다. 여동생의 시체일 수도 있다는 생각에 발란으로 돌아와 어린 시절부터 자신을 괴롭혔던 과거의 그림자를 마주해야 한다.

The documentary follows the life of a blind couple who, despite social prejudice, decided to have a child. Ferike has a dream: when he grows up, he will collect the money for his parents’ surgery so that they can regain their eyesight and be able to see just like him. For the time being, he accompanies them in their daily life. He assists them everywhere: in a shop, on the way to work, in a museum or the zoo.
