In 1965 Mexico City, Flavia, a wealthy yet lonely schoolgirl, befriends Veronica, a young orphan girl who has a fascination with witchcraft. Veronica convinces Flavia that she is a real witch and forces her to be her assistant. The children's games gradually become more serious and Veronica demands more from Flavia.

A British woman visits her husband at the Mexican mine he is attempting to reopen and discovers that the workers refuse to enter the mine, fearing an ancient curse. The couple enter the mine to prove there is no danger and inadvertently release a demon which possesses people's left hands and forces them to behave in a suitably diabolical manner.

Returning from a business trip, a man meets some peasants who arouse fears in him.

Mario Moreno portrays a professor in this movie. A small town in the middle of no where requests the school Mario Moreno is working in for a teacher. He ends up going to give the town a hand. When he arrives he comes to know the corrupt leaders who through out the movie try to make him leave. Although he is being harassed you can see how much he cares for the kids and their circumstances. He deals with problems by using his hilarious comments.

It's about a country doctor that comes to the city while a clinic is built in his home town... he rubs off his care and compassion on others at the hospital with his humor and wit.

안드레스는 소유자들의 대표로 돈이 아주 많고 욕심이 많은 사람이다. 자신이 가지고 있는 소유지의 임차인들을 내쫓기 위해 노력하는데 그 임차인들 중 카르멜로라 하는 임차인 대표 격이라 할 수 있는 자가 가장 문제였다. 그래서 브루토라고 하는 도살장에서 일을 하고 있는 힘이 아주 세고 강한 자를 시켜서 임차인 대표들을 제거하려고 하는데, 이 과정에서 미케의 아버지가 살인을 당한다. 미케는 이런 과정도 모르고, 브루토와의 관계가 점점 깊어 가는데, 파로마라는 안드레스 사장의 부인은 브루토의 남성적인 매력에 빠져들게 되고, 미케와의 관계를 질투한 그녀는 자신과의 있었던 일과, 브루토가 미케의 아버지를 죽였다는 사실을 미케에게 말하게 된다. 이 과정에서 브루토는 점점 다시 짐승의 본능을 나타내게 되고...

Set in the Balkans, this story concerns a bored journalist, Nora (miroslava) who is ordered by her boss (Wagner) to follow up a mysterious advertisement placed by Dr Ling (Linares Rivas). Ling turns out to be a misshapen creature who, rejected by his peers, has become the stereotypical mad scientist, here specializing in plastic surgery. He falls in love with Nora but fearing she will betray him he resuscitates a young man who committed suicide, Ariel (Navarro) by transplanting a new brain into him, and order him to fetch Nora so that he can kill her.

In the drama, a father, firmly believing that the baby daughter in his arms is not his own, abandons her upon the doorstep of the town drunk. Many years pass, and the man finds himself continually wracked with guilt about deserting her.

The story of a girl of questionable mental stability who escapes from incarceration and ends up at a plantation where she disrupts a working family's daily routines and chemistry.

<황금 시대>와 <빵 없는 대지> 이후에 루이스 부뉴엘은 잠정적으로 영화를 만들지 않았다. 오랜 침묵 끝에 멕시코에서 만든 이 작품은 부뉴엘 자신이 시나리오를 쓰고 연출과 편집을 했기에 그의 예술적 자유와 사유가 가득 묻어있는 작품이다. 한달 만에 저예산으로 제작된 이 영화는 대도시 외곽의 청소년 탈선 문제를 잔혹하게 다루고 있지만 본질적으로 이 작품의 주제는 사랑 받지 못한 아이들에 관한 슬픈 이야기이다. 잔혹함을 통해 부뉴엘은 역설적으로 부패하지 않는 인간의 존엄성을 그려낸다. 그래서 이 영화는 처연한 아름다움을 풍긴다. 앙드레 바쟁은 이 영화의 미덕이 잔인함 속에서 아름다움을 찾아내고, 데카당스한 가운데 인간의 존엄성에 대한 숭고한 인내를 보여줌으로써 잔혹함을 사랑과 열정의 행위로 변형시키는데 있다고 지적했다. 바쟁은 또한 이 영화가 ‘사랑에 관한 영화이며 사랑을 필요로 하는 영화’라고 말했다.
