『極道の妻たち』（야쿠자의 아내들)은 1986년 토에이 쿄토 촬영제작소, 토에이 배급이 공개한 야쿠자 영화 이다. 감독은 고샤히데오로 계속 되는 호평으로 여 주인공 감독이 교체되면서 시리즈화 되었다. 통칭으로 『極妻（ごくつま）』。라고도 한다. 최신작은 『極道の妻たち 情炎』（15번째 작품）이다. 극장 개봉용으로는 1998년 발표한 10번째 시리즈 『極道の妻たち 決着（けじめ）』으로 일단락 지어졌다.

When a group of men from the Hanya clan search his town for a missing geisha, a brave ronin decides to help her and a drunken calligrapher. In doing so, he uncovers a wider scheme.

The sexual experiences of the passionate Sakiko, from her fling with her boss in her first job to her ending up as a prostitute.

The plot opens with the hero (Tsuruta) leaving prison, having served time through taking the blame for a fellow gang member’s crime. However, his former gang boss seems to have gone to seed, with people now killing each other and dealing in drugs. The hero then teams up with a lone operator (Tamba) who specialises in shaking down gangsters.

Once upon a time, Okuro (Ayako Wakao), a young female racoon, lived poorly with her drunken father. One day after they disguised themselves as parasols, they were wrongly brought to the Racoon Palace, where the young racoon princess (also Ayako Wakao) made a mess of her arranged marriage with the beautiful racoon prince (Raizô Ichikawa). Pretty princess ran away. In order not to spoil the promising marriage, people tried to make use of resemblances between Okuro and the princess. Before long, Okuro and the Prince fell in love with each other...
