1년 전 어머니를 잃고 난 후 보(제이콥 라티모어)는 길거리에서 카드 마술을 하며 여동생을 보살피고 있다. 그러던 중 홀리(세이첼 가브리엘)를 만나 사랑에 빠지는 보. 하지만 그에게는 홀리에게도 여동생에게도 말하지 못한 비밀이 하나 있었으니, 그의 또다른 직업은 바로 마약판매상. 안젤로(덜 힐)의 밑에서 일하던 어느 날, 보는 자신들의 구역에서 허락없이 장사를 하는 상대조직원의 팔을 자르게 된다. 그 일로 안젤로의 인정을 받게 된 보는 대량의 마약을 손에 넣게 되고, 그 가운데 1kg를 훔쳐 안젤로로부터 벗어날 계획을 세우게 된다. 그러나 그 일이 안젤로에게 들통이 나고, 훔친 금액의 3배를 가져오라는 안젤로. 과연 보는 이 사태를 어떻게 해결할 수 있을 것인가?
