Adapted from a series of fantasy novels by the polish author Andrzej Sapkowski, The Witcher tells the tale of Geralt, one of a few remaining "witchers" — traveling monster hunters for hire, gifted with unnatural powers.
Ewa is a beautiful, happily married woman. One day she meets a young woman claiming to be in affair with her husband. Ewa, shocked, doesn't know whom to believe any more.
The school incident of the disappearance of a watch became a pretext for the filmmakers to faithfully show an interesting social layer, to present the life of the school community, Agnieszka's conflicts with her parents and the emerging sympathy for the boy.
