이리스 레이테르는 부다페스트의 가장 유명한 모자 가게 ‘레이테르’에서 일을 하기 위해 찾아간다. 이전에는 아버지가 운영하였지만, 새로운 소유주가 경영을 맡게 되었다. 중요한 손님을 맞기 위해 분주하게 일하던 어느 날 낯선 남자가 이리스에게 접근하며 오빠를 찾는다. 이리스는 자신의 삶에서 멀어져 있던 오빠의 흔적을 찾으러 부다페스트를 헤매지만, 이 과정에서 마주치는 이들은 그녀에게 도시를 떠나라고 경고한다.

엘란과 조너선 보가린, 이 남매는 할머니를 잃고 한 가지 중요한 질문과 마주한다. 사랑하는 이가 세상을 떠나면 남겨진 물건들은 어떻게 처리해야 할까? 남매는 할머니의 어수선한 뉴저지 집을 정교하게 폐허로 탈바꿈시키는 마술적 사실주의 여정을 다큐멘터리에 담는다. 골동품이 공예품이 되고 남매는 고고학자로 탈바꿈한다. 물리학자, 큐레이터 및 기록보관인의 도움으로 그들은 한 가정집에 담긴 놀라운 우주를 발굴해 낸다. (2018년 제15회 EBS 국제다큐영화제) 리뷰 돌아가신 할머니를 위해 이보다 더 멋진 송가가 있을까? 남매 사이인 엘란 보가린과 조너선 보가린 감독은 돌아가신 할머니가 쓰던 물건을 조목조목 세세하게 분류하면서 기발한 아이디어의 영화를 만들었다. 어떻게 보면 내가 좋아하는 과 을 만든 웨스 앤더슨 감독의 화려한 영상미가 연상된다는 평가도 있지만 이런 평범한 소재를 가지고 엄청난 스타일의 다큐멘터리 영화를 완성한 감독에게 경이로움마저 든다. 새로운 포맷을 차용한 감독 남매는 할머니가 쓰다 남은 밴드에이드, 칫솔 그리고 라디오 등을 하나하나 재구성해 돌아가신 할머니에 대한 기억을 멋지게 소환했다. 픽션이 아닌 다큐멘터리는 스토리 구성도 중요하지만 우리가 흔히 이야기하는 포맷 또는 구성 스타일은 영화 전체의 틀을 잡는데 상당히 중요한 요소 중 하나다. 할머니의 평범한 유품들은 영화가 전개되면서 관객들이 전혀 알지 못했던 감독의 타계하신 할머니를 이해하는데 멋진 매개체가 되었다. 그러고 보니 나 또한 이 독특한 발상을 가진 감독들처럼 할머니가 미국(LA)에서 반평생을 살다가 돌아가셨다. 문득 <306 할리우드>를 보면서 나를 누구보다 예뻐하셨던 할머니 생각에 눈시울을 붉혔는데 할머니가 거주하셨던 호바트 스트리트 옛집에 즐비하던 신기하고 오래된 물건들은 다 어디로 갔을까 문득 궁금한 생각이 든다. Wellhello is a Hungarian music band whose song combine the stories of the movie. This is a generation movie: portrays the feeling of life, thinking, problems and relationships of today's twenty-year-old's.

유명한 만화가를 꿈꾸는 20대 청년 졸리카와 바바는 복지 센터에서 우연히 킬러 루퍼소브를 만나게 된다. 몇 년 전, 일을 하다 하반신 마비가 된 전직 소방관 루퍼소브는 마피아로부터 의뢰를 받아 사람을 죽이는 일을 하고 있었고, 두 청년은 그의 거친 매력에 매료되어 함께 임무를 수행하게 된다. 다리에 칼을 맞아도 아픔을 느끼지 못해 바로 반격 할 수 있고, 길거리에서 총을 쏴도 의심 받지 않는 그들! 꽤나 완벽한(?) 암살자의 탄생을 확인하라!!

The renowned anarchist teacher Count Ervin Batthyány reappears 100 years after his death. He tries to put his theories into practice again, as he realises that the world has not turned out as he had expected. He founds a new free school with the help of some like-minded people, and starts teaching a new generation who believe in solidarity and cooperation, rather than a system of oppression. But the ideal of freedom and equality awakens the same fears in the choreographers of power as it did 100 years ago. And after an encouraging start the count and his new friends come up against more and more obstacles.

Examples: A woman becomes irritated with a man who has left his dog. A father has an argument with his wife about an alarming (to the parents) arousal of sexuality in their 10 y.o. daughter. A young girl is distressed by her growing realization that she is more and more like her sadistic grandmother. A conversation between two guys, apparently about an old car, takes an unexpected turn.
