비가 내리고 번개가 치던 날 밤에 약혼녀 노노무라 유우코를 만나러 그녀가 사는 노노무라 저택에 찾아간 사가와 카즈히코가 유우코의 어머니 시즈로부터 보름 전에 유우코가 교통사고를 당해 죽었다는 비보를 듣고선 충격에 빠진 채 저택에 잠시 묵게 됐다가 다음날 새벽 숲속에 있는 유우코의 묘자리에서 죽은 줄 알았던 유우코와 재회한 뒤 행방이 묘연해져, 카즈히코의 여동생인 사가와 케이코가 연인인 타카기 히로시와 함께 오빠의 행방을 찾아 유우코의 저택에 찾아가면서 벌어지는 이야기.
