Jeong Do-hwan

Hansu Ra is adopted to an American family when her mom dies. She can't forget how her mother died and one day returns to Korea. She begins working under a pseudonym for an electronics company her mom used to manage. Hansu knows Choi Dal-geun, former vice president of the company, is guilty. She seduces Choi and gets him into a debt that pushes him to the brink. Then she seduces the manager and the director into fighting over her. What will the tragic but brave resolution be for these men and Hansu?

Near the end of the Chosun Dynasty, a vagabond named Eok-swoi wandered over all of Korea. In the end, Eok-swoi settles in a remote village where he becomes the servant of Magistrate Ahn, a man of influence. Eok-swoi engages in an innocent love with Keum-sun, a maiden servant of Ahn. Though he is over the age of 50, Ahn is still childless. He treats his young second wife badly and finally, he turns his eye to Keum-sun. After being alone night after night, the young wife unintentionally starts an affair with Eok-swoi which Ahn discovers. Out of guilt, Keum-sun had rejected all of Ahn's advances to the end. She runs away with Eok-swoi. Afterwards, Ahn becomes disabled and deeply repents his wrongdoings.

출판사 사장 김동식은 부인의 사업이 성장하자 열등감을 느끼게 되고 가정에서의 위치도 흐려지게 되어 차츰 방황한다. 이런 방황의 도피로 호스테스와 혼외정사를 갖게 된다. 그러나 성격이 우유부단한 그는 이러한 통정을 계기로 또 다른 가정을 갖게 되어 더 깊은 갈등과 심연으로 빠져들게 된다. 한편 부인과 내연의 처는 여성특유의 현실주의를 내세워 모종의 협상을 맺고 그를 공유하게 된다. 결국 당면한 현실을 외면하고 도피하려던 그는 생의 구덩이를 스스로 파서 모두로부터 영원히 잊혀지길 원했던 것이다.

서울근교 양계장 근처에 동식과 명자의 시체가 열두곳의 칼자국이 난채 발견돼 수사진은 강도살인으로 판명하고 수사하게 된다. 어느날 양계장 집에 명자(나영희 분)가 좋은대로 시집갈 조건으로 무보수로 식모로 온다. 작곡가 동식(전무송 분)은 가수가 되려는 혜옥과 사이가 가까워지자, 명자가 끼어들어 동식과 관계를 갖고 임신하게 된다. 양계장을 운영하는 동식의 부인 정순(김지미 분)은 명자의 애를 떼게 한다. 명자는 분풀이로 동식의 아들 창순을 독살한다. 정순도 명자를 쥐약으로 독살하려다 명자의 음모에 걸려들어 곤궁에 처한다. 명자의 애인 형철과 동식이 다툼끝에 형철이 부상을 입는다. 부상을 치료하던 명자는 형철의 급작스런 겁탈에 형철을 죽여 그 사실을 동식에게 뒤집어 씌운다. 정순은 증거를 찾아명자를 궁지에 몰리게 한다. 끝내 명자와 동식은 쥐약을 먹고 죽게 된다. 동식은 가족을 위해 강도 살인으로 위장하기 위해 정순으로 하여금 시체에 칼자국을 내게 한다.
