14-year-old Lucie is a resourceful teenager who takes care of her loving yet unreliable father, William, who has multiple sclerosis. Whilst William hangs out in his wardrobe and devises pranks and jokes to make his daughter smile, Lucie tries her best at school while juggling a job in a sandwich shop and all the chores at home. Her vividly imaginative mind and the novel she is writing are her only distractions. But when a social worker is appointed to visit them, Lucie and William elaborate a complex plan to make social services believe they live a perfectly normal life.

Adrien, an attractive dancer whose career was shattered by a motorbike accident, wastes his youth in the laziness of the French Riviera, where he is looked after by Martha, a former movie star. Adrien’s life is turned upside down when he meets Margot, a captivating beauty who lives for the thrill of scams and romantic entanglements. Together, they fantasise about a better life and set up a diabolical scheme, an emotional masquerade.

From the first minutes after his inauguration, the newly elected president wants to translate his promises and his campaign project into action. "Change is now", "Change life", "Together everything becomes possible": all campaign slogans promising a break with the past, a change. The first few months were decisive: it was a matter of making a mark, asserting one's style, imposing one's authority and taking the first measures, those that would make a mark on public opinion and set the first lines of the political narrative in history. From 1959 to 2017, the eight successive presidents have acted without delay. Thanks to the many witnesses and actors of these first hundred days, the film retraces the stakes and decisive moments that marked the beginning of each mandate.

Poor Bastards is a sketch film, written by twelve authors. Mirror or projection, poor bastards have fun with everyday facts and do not tell a story, but stories. Through these short and bitter stories, are revealed all the cracks of the human race, which, in a movement of globalization and neoliberalism more and more assertive, can lead the ordinary man to be a monster of cowardice, cruelty, indifference or hypocrisy. Poor bastards from an odd angle, transcribe reality provocatively or not, always with the same ambition: to react.

제2차 세계대전 당시인 1940년, 프랑스 덩케르크 지역에서 진행된 연합군 구출 작전. 영화는 세개의 시공간을 동시에 진행시킨다. 도버 해협을 건너려는 영국군을 중심으로 한 잔교에서의 일주일, 민간 선박들의 자발적 참전과 차출이 이어지는 바다에서의 하루, 적기를 겨냥한 스피트파이어기 전투사가 있는 하늘에서의 한 시간. 전쟁의 전방위성, 공포의 상시성과 그 압도, 개별 공간을 떠난 공포의 유사성, 그 속의 다급함이 혼재되어 있는 가운데 전쟁과 죽음에의 공포와 생존을 향한 인간적 열망을 그린다.

재능 있는 인도인 요리사 하산. 복잡한 집안 사정으로 인도를 탈출한 그는 프랑스 남부 작은 마을에 도착해 레스토랑을 열게 된다. 하산의 레스토랑에서 백 발자국쯤이면 또 다른 레스토랑이 있는데 이 식당의 정통 프랑스 요리를 전문으로 하는 식당이다. 평소 하산은 프랑스 요리를 책을 보며 익힌 천재 요리사이지만 정식으로 프랑스 요리를 배운 적은 없다. 마을 사람 모두가 인도에서 온 하산의 레스토랑을 궁금해 하던 중 프랑스 식당의 요리사 마거리트를 우연히 알게 된 하산은 애틋한 감정이 싹트지만 두 레스토랑이 경쟁을 하면서 좌충우돌 소동이 벌어지게 되는데...
