이집트 소도시, 19살의 수아드와 13살의 라밥 자매는 보수적인 가족들과 살고 있다. 수아드는 가족들 앞에서 조신하게 행동하지만 사실 그녀는 아슬아슬한 이중의 삶을 살고 있다. 가족들 몰래 온라인 세계에서 여러 남성들과 은밀한 가상 연애를 하는 수아드. 그녀는 소셜 네트워크에 자신이 원하는 허구의 이미지를 만들기 위해 끊임없이 거짓말을 지어낸다. 그러나 작은 사건들이 이어지고, 그녀는 결국 비극적인 결말을 맞이한다. 이제 여동생 라밥은 왜 언니가 왜 그렇게 떠나야 했는지에 대한 비밀을 풀기 위한 여정을 시작해야 한다.
