약력

Sandy McLennan works with old and new photo imaging and sound recording media: right tool at the right time. He expresses current personal and state-of-the-world emotions via analogue motion pictures (Regular/Double 8mm, 16mm, super 8), photo paper imaging (pinhole camera, photograms, contact prints), portable and home darkroom thaumaturgy, digital sound recording/editing, video and installations. He leads workshops enabling the experience of slow time via old technology for many first-timers. He exhibits motion pictures, photography, installation/performance and sound.

With a super 8 cartridge I shot moons ago, labelled "unknown", I'm back in the darkroom after some months. Ah, it's the river near home! Turned out to look just how I felt, with muted brown, false horizon, chemical re-balance and frayed nerve.

호주의 산호 해안을 여행 중이던 케이트와 그의 일행은 배가 전복 당하는 사고를 당한다. 전복된 배위에서 구조를 기다리다 지친 일행은 가까운 섬으로 헤엄쳐 가기로 하는데... 는 실제로 일어났던 사건을 극화했다. 워낙 현실적으로 표현된 상어 때문에 처음부터 끝까지 긴장을 늦출 수 없는 작품. (2010년 제15회 부산국제영화제)
