Empire of Brazil, 1870. A queer indigenous body slowly dies on the cross while a transgender gypsy woman is banned by her people. A half-breed soldier stands in the middle of the way. A child and an old woman cross their stories like destined lines on the palm of a hand.
Set Decoration
A nun is called upon to adopt her 15-year-old nephew, and as a consequence religious, familial and sensual love become entangled.
Assistant Art Director
Castuera, Spain, April 1939. During the night two Falangist Guards appear at the door of the house where Paz is taking refuge with her family. They request her presence at the police station. Paz immediately understands the fatality of this visit. With no chance to escape, she asks to breastfeed her newborn daughter one last time.

It dawns. A group of hunters is reunited, suspended in time and space. Prey and predator.
Set Decoration
Mena lives alone with her daughter Clara. Today is Clara’s seventh birthday. Despite her limited financial resources, Mena still manages to organise a birthday party. But after a phone call from her mother, she becomes distraught and anxious.
Executive Producer
A portrait of the daily life of Zé de Sabino, a fisherman who works and lives in the breathtaking village of Regência, Espirito Santo (located near the Rio Doce, which suffered one of the greatest environmental tragedy in Brazil's history). The vastness of man is a place suspended in time, bordered by sky, land, river, and sea.
