세 명의 영화 관객은 그들이 화면에서 보는 세계로 마법처럼 옮겨진 후 전쟁의 공포를 경험한다.

'미나'는 병에 걸려 시한부 삶을 산다. 그녀는 1941년 12월 7일에 죽는데, 일본이 진주만 공습을 하면서 태평양전쟁이 시작된 날이다. 그래서 그녀는 일본의 도덕성을 상징한다고 하겠다. 또 한 사람 이 영화의 주인공 토시히코인데, 이어지는 장면에서 미나에게 키스하려고 할 때 그녀가 거절한다. 처음에는 둘이 친척 관계라서 그런 줄 알았는데 나중에 밝혀지는 걸 보면 미나는 토시히코의 이모의 죽은 (만주에서 죽었다) 남편의 여동생이다. 그래서 친척 관계는 이유가 아닌 것 같다. 아마 자신이 곧 죽을 것이기 때문에 사랑하지 말라는 뜻인 듯하다. 도덕성을 잃은 조국을 사랑하지 말라는 뜻도 될까. 토시히코는 평생 독신으로 산다. 그의 미나에 대한 감정은 이 마지막 장면에서야 분명히 드러난다.

On August 9, 1945, the Americans dropped an atomic bomb on Nagasaki. This film, based on a story by Mitsukaru Inoue, describes the daily life of people in Nagasaki the day before that fateful event. It presents the human drama of people's lives, and their feelings of joy and sadness. These include a newlywed couple, an expectant mother, and lovers who must say farewell because the boy is called to serve in the army. Each of these people, like others in the city, hoped to live with their dreams for ‘tomorrow’. But tomorrow never comes for them, as their lives are brought to an abrupt and unexpected end. Knowing how the story ends, in this case, doesn't detract from it at all; rather, it enhances the emotional impact, which is further heightened by the poignant musical score from Teizo Matsumura. 'Ashita' is the first film in Kazuo Kuroki's 'War Requiem Trilogy,' which also includes 'Utsukushii Natsu Kirishima' (2002) and 'Chichi to Kuraseba' (2004).

"미요"는 "코우"의 오토바이에 강한 흥미를 느끼고, 이륜면허를 취득하여 점점 오토바이에 빠져들어 간다. "미요"는 "코우"가 혀를 내두를 정도로 오토바이에 대한 센스를 보이고, 결국에는 대형이륜면허마저 취득한다. 하지만, 두 사람은 오토바이 문제로 다투게 되고, "미요"는 자신의 고향인 세토나이카이(瀬戸内海)의 섬으로 떠나간다. "코우"는 뒤늦게 그녀의 섬으로 향하는데...

카타자와가의 네 자매는 부모님이 돌아가신 후 쿄토의 철학의 길 근처에서 살고 있다. 그러던 어느 날 장녀 아야만이 키타자와가의 아이일 뿐 다른 세 자매는 시설의 경영 부진으로 보모를 하고 있던 키타자와 치요에게 맡겨진 것이라는 사실을 알게 된다. 네 자매의 사랑과 청춘을 그린 오요야마 카즈에의 동명 만화를 오바야시 노부히코 감독이 영화화하였다. 일본 드라마를 좋아하는 관객이라면 1999년부터 방영되고 있는 일본판 CSI 〈과수연의 여자〉의 주인공 사카키 마리코를 연기하는 사와구치 야스코의 20대의 풋풋한 모습에 놀랄 것이다.

천국에 가장 가까운 섬"은 1984년 12월 15일에 개봉한 일본 영화입니다. "모리무라 카츠라(森村桂)"의 기행문에 가까운 동명의 소설을 원작으로 하고 있습니다.

화재로 파괴된 도시에 관한 신문 기사를 읽은 후, 에구치는 논문을 쓰기 위해 보낸 여름을 회상하게 된다. 그 곳은 "일본의 베니스"로 불리는, 아름다운 운하가 있는 마을이었다. 마을에 도착한 그를 맞이한 것은 야스코였다. 그녀의 다른 가족들은 보이지 않았다. 첫날밤에 에구치는 우는 소리를 들었다. 그 이유를 찾으면서 자신이 한 가족을 분열시키고 있다는 갈등에 빠져 든다. 그는 꿈같은 마을이라고 생각했지만 일부 주민은 그런 그를 비웃는다. 파멸과 죽음만이 유일한 미래라는 생각이 그들을 지배하고 있었다.

중학생 소녀 가즈코는 친구들인 고로, 가즈오와 함께 과학실 청소를 하다가 플라스크에서 올라온 강한 라벤더향을 맡고 정신을 잃는다. 사흘 후, 가즈코의 주위에는 이상한 사건들이 일어나기 시작한다. 한밤중에 지진이 일어나서 고로의 집이 불에 타고, 다음날 아침 고로와 함께 교통사고를 당하는 순간, 전날 아침으로 되돌간다.

완전히 다른 성격을 가진 두 남녀 고등학생이 신사의 계단에서 굴러떨어진 뒤 몸이 뒤바뀌고 만다. 뒤늦게 이 사실을 안 두 사람은 크게 당황하지만 어떻게든 바뀐 몸에 적응하려 한다. 우스꽝스러운 사건이 잇달아 벌어지는 가운데 두 사람은 서로를 배려하는 법을 알아가며 조금씩 가까워진다.

In the third installment of Yoshikawa's novel Musashi, things continue from the 2nd film at the end of battle, where Miyamoto continues on a mission of learning; with the introduction of his arch-rival Sasaki Kojiro; and lastly the large cast of characters rendezvouses for a fateful finale.

The remake of Yoshikawa's novel continues with the second installment in which Takezo, soon to be Miyamoto Musashi, emerges from the Himeji Castle after three years of intense contemplation and philosophical study and starting on his epic quest to complete his skill in the Way.

In this first episode, we are introduced to Takezo, what Musashi used to be before he became the man of legend. His beginning are not exactly auspicious. He sides with the Toyotomi at Sekigahara, and as a result finds himself on the losing side of the historic battle. He and his friend Matahachi manage to escape the slaughter although the latter is wounded in his leg. They stumble across the young Akemi who makes her living with her mother Oko by robbing corpses of their armor and anything else they can sell. Oko takes it into her head to seduce Matahachi, which she does first by skillfully sucking the gangrene from his blood, and then just by sucking.
