Takahashi hasn’t told his wife he was laid off, and has a paid sexual encounter with a high-school student, attracted by the pungent odor of her cigarettes, Peace Regulars. In fact that memory was not Chihos, but that of her twin sister, Kaho.

Despite the fact that Kyoko's a girl herself, approaching women on the streets and asking them to pose nude for her proves to be quite a chore. At first she accosts every pretty girl that walks by, until Miho catches her eye. Feeling that she has that certain something special, Kyoko insists that Miho pose for her. Her own life floating rudderless after the separation of her parents, Miho accepts, half entertaining the idea to get back at her father, who has gone on to form a new family and who hasn't been in touch with her in years. The two girls walk around town, Kyoko snapping pictures and listening to Miho's stories. Gradually the two young women begin to sense a mutual attraction. When the time comes to get down to the nitty gritty of the nude shots, the girls' defences come down along with their clothes.

Zazie
Producer
Zazie, one time rock star on the move, has retired at a young age to Shibaura, the semiderelict "waterfront" area of Tokyo. Now he spends his time recording his own life on video. But he can't shake his "fans": members of his former band want a reunion concert, his ex-girlfriend Megumi won't let go, office girls and snack-bar waitresses continue to idolize him. Most disturbing, the taciturn and vaguely threatening Sunada watches him day and night. But Zazie yields to no one, commits to nothing. On the one side, mounting expectation and burgeoning fantasy; on the other, indecision, introspection and silence. Something's gotta give…
So What
Producer

The New Morning of Billy the Kid
Producer
All the protagonists move about in a Tokyo Bar that has an entire wall taken up with a black-and-white reproduction of a photo of Monument Valley. The action starts as Billy the Kid, in full living color, walks out of the photo and gets a job as a waiter. Along with him on the working staff are a samurai straight out of the history books, a G.I. from World War II, and several other anachronistic characters. The plot (as such) revolves around keeping away the brutal mobsters and thugs who dominate the city streets outside of the bar, making the tavern safe for its easily recognized facsimiles of well-known characters.
The Bloody Afternoon
Producer
Action film about a bank robbery.
