Sergei Prokofiev's symphonic masterpiece, first performed in Russia in 1936, has been lauded not only for the spectacular musical score, but also for the story itself--of a young boy who outwits a wily wolf. George Daugherty brings this timeless tale to modern audiences by seamlessly weaving live-action with animation and music by the RCA Symphony Orchestra. The story opens as a grandfather (Lloyd Bridges) hosts his daughter (Kirstie Alley) and grandson (Ross Malinger from Sleepless in Seattle) during a visit to his country cottage. After lunch, the trio settles in as grandfather recounts "The Story" of Peter's adventures with a bird, cat, and dizzy duck on the outskirts "of a very dark forest." The film morphs into a clever cartoon designed by the legendary Chuck Jones (of Wile E. Coyote fame). The "story within a story" leaps to life while the accompanying musical instruments also emerge as playful personalities.

칼립(아드리안 패스다 분)은 메이(제니 라이트 분)와의 첫번째 만남에서 호감을 느껴 데이트를 하지만 새벽이 다가오자 그녀는 마지막 키스의 혈흔만을 남긴 채 홀연히 사라진다. 메이는 태양을 피해 살 수 밖에 없는 뱀파이어 일당의 일원이었다. 이들의 희생물이 된 칼립은 마지막 순간에 메이의 도움으로 목숨을 건지는데, 이미 햇빛에 노출되어 온몸이 타들어가는 증세로 무자비한 살륙을 일삼는 테러 집단의 일원이 된다. 한편 칼립의 아버지 로이(팀 토머슨 분)와 여동생 사라(마시 리즈 분)는 그를 찾기 위해 끈질긴 추적을 벌여 변두리 모텔에서 칼립을 발견하지만 일당에게 다 잡히고 만다. 격투 끝에 탈출한 칼립은 아버지의 헌신적인 치료로 정상인이 되는 데 그 사이 사라가 일당에게 납치당한다. 메이와 사라를 구하려고 나선 칼립에게는 무서운 보복만이 기다리고 있는데...

언니인 아이비는 늦은 나이까지 결혼을 하지 않고 동생 리와 함께 살고 있다. 어느 날, 이 두자매가 운영하고 있는 하숙집에 의문의 사나이가 찾아온다. 그 사나이는 예전에 알고 지내던 사이라며 동생 리에게 접근한다. 그의 핸섬한 외모와 친절한 매너에 오랫동안 외롭게 자란 리는 어쩔 수 없이 끌리게 된다. 급기야 둘은 관계를 맺지만 그 장면을 우연히 아이비가 보고 만다. 그리고 아이비는 그의 정체가 사실은 오래전 자신의 결혼식 전날, 자신을 강간하려고 했던 남자의 친동생이라는 것을 알게 된다.

This actioner is set in a remote, heavily forested area in Northern California where marijuana growers raise their illegal crops and run whole communities with their terrorist tactics and wealth. The tale centers on the efforts of a fearless New York cop to free one such community from the tyranny of the pot growers. It begins with a surveyor who is leading the town's crooked sheriff to a small marijuana field he has just discovered. The surveyor is killed before he can get there. Joshua, a small boy, sees the execution and tries to get back in time to tell his parents. Unfortunately, the killers murder his family and throw him off a cliff. The boy's aunt, worried at not hearing from her family, gets suspicious and asks an old flame, NY cop Joe Dillon, to investigate. The town sheriff is not pleased by his intrusion and warns him to stay out of it. Dillon disobeys, and that is where all the action comes in.
