강력계 형사인 코브레티는 강력 사건을 추적하는 과정에서 얻은 명성으로 코브라라는 별명을 얻게 된다. 코브라는 큰 도시의 경찰서에서 계속적으로 강력반에 근무하면서 거리의 무법자들을 속속 체포하여 질서 유지에 혁혁한 공을 세운다. LA의 어느 슈퍼마켓에서 숏 건을 가진 사나이가 난입, 여러 명의 고객을 인질로 삼아 은신한다. LA 시경측은 민완형사 코브라를 부른다. 범죄의 온상으로 알려진 LA는 광신적인 폭력 집단에 의한 살인 사건이 연발하고 있다. 주범은 나이트 스랏샤로 성격 파탄자이며 수법은 잔악성이 극에 달하고 있었다. 어느날 밤 그들이 귀가하는 한 여인을 습격, 살해하는 장면을 잉그릿드라는 모델이 목격한다. 그러나, 목격자의 처치에 혈안이 된 범인들은 그녀에게 마스를 뻗친다. 너무나 충격을 받은 잉그릿드는 경찰에 보호를 요청, 그녀를 위한 코브라 즉 고브레티 형사의 눈부신 활약이 전개된다. 코브라의 곁에는 동료 형사인 곤잘레스가 계속 따라 다니며 행동을 함께 한다.

An asylum in West Virginia and the Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania area are the backdrop to this dark psychological thriller, which unravels a complex chain of events between action, intrigue and religion: a detective, a sheriff and a psychologist must solve a series. of murders parallel to biblicalism before a symbol of them becomes the next sacrificial victim.

It follows a struggling father who unwittingly becomes “Death”, and must find a way to escape and reunite with his daughter. Lawrence Kao plays Daniel, a single father deceived into a treacherous career as the grim reaper, while his precocious daughter Collette (Kai Cech) grows increasingly suspicious of his whereabouts.

Jim (Larry Herron), is a widower trying to raise his daughter while keeping the peace in a small town. While dealing with his debt to Victor (Tom Sizemore), a mobster, a monster is awakened and begins to wreak havoc. Shara Connolly plays Darla, owner of the local diner; Jaime Gallagher plays the monster; and Brian Thompson plays Al, one of Victor's goons.
