After years of leave, Laura Lebrel returns to action. Lydia asks him for help on a case: Eugenio Ortiz, Laura's former instructor, has been murdered. But a new detective, Hector, finds evidence that incriminates Laura. She asks to be allowed to find the killer and Lydia gives her 24 hours to solve the case before arresting her.

As a severe drought punishes the vast expanses of rice fields in eastern Spain, the natural region of Laguna Blanca is named a Nature Preserve. A prestigious biologist, Ricardo, arrives in San Pedro to protect it. His family, however, is going through tough times but Ricardo is convinced that a change in their lives will help them move on. And it’s also an opportunity to get back to his roots, to his origins, to where he grew up as a boy and to reclaim this spot that had been buried in his fondest memories. Ricardo’s mission is to hinder the abusive and illegal use that everyone makes of the lagoon. But pressure and threats from the locals just keep getting worse. They consider Ricardo a traitor because all they are trying to do is defend their existence and their livelihood. Ricardo eventually comes to the realization that his life and that of his family are in danger.

In 1543, at the University of Salamanca, in Spain, Fray Antonio Román, an Augustinian monk who spreads humanist ideas, considered heretical, among his more inquisitive students, a clandestine group of four led by the brilliant novice Luis de León, mysteriously dies in unspeakable circumstances. In the present day, the historian Lara Cabanes is hired to find out if the monk was murdered, as is suspected and she is told, but the task will not be easy to achieve.

언뜻보기에 천박하고 유치해 보이는 여인, 메이크업 아티스트인 키카. 그녀는 미국인 유명 소설가 니콜라스가 TV에 출연했을 때, 그의 메이크업을 맡으면서 서로 알게 된다. 어느날, 니콜라스는 키카를 자신의 집에 초대하는데 그곳엔 심장마비를 일으킨 니콜라스의 전처 아들, 라몽이 누워 있었다. 라몽은 자신의 엄마가 자살한 현장을 보고 심장마비를 일으켰던 것. 니콜라스는 키카에게 쓰러진 라몽의 창백한 얼굴에 화장을 부탁한다. 그런데, 라몽의 얼굴에 분을 바르는 순간, 라몽은 온기를 되찾는다. 이때부터 라몽과 키카는 동거를 시작하고. 그러나, 키카는 니콜라스와도 관계를 갖고 있었기에 니콜라스가 라몽의 집 윗층에 살기 시작하자 씁쓸한 기분에 휩쌓인다. 그런 키카를 안타깝게 바라보는 레즈비언 가정부 파나. 그녀는 키카에게 사랑을 고백하나 거절당한다. 한편, 어느날 가정부 파나의 사촌 동생인 전직 포르노 배우가 키카의 집에 숨어드는데 값나가는 물건 몇 개만 훔쳐가려던 그는 잠들어있던 키카를 보고 그만 그녀를 강간하고 만다. 그런데, 건너편쪽에서 이 장면을 목격한 누군가가 경찰에 신고하고 충격적인 사건만을 찾아 다니는 사건 리포터 안드레아도 키카의 집으로 들어 닥친다. 심한 충격을 받은 키카. 설상가상으로 이 강간 사건이 너무도 리얼한 영상으로 안드레아의 TV프로에 보도된다. 경찰에 신고한 사람은 누구이며 이 사건을 카메라로 찍어 안드레아에게 넘긴 사람은 바로 라몽이었고 라몽의 어머니를 살해한 자는 다름아닌 니콜라스였음이 드러난다.

Anna Luz, a married woman, rethinks her life when she receives the visit of a stranger who claims to be her neighbor from the floor below. His arrival coincides with the entry of a series of extravagant characters who, as in a dream, invade his house. Ana is then immersed in this succession of strange and wonderful events that will forever ruin what until then was a normal life.

Fifteen years after the plot a lawyer and a military ex-attorney meet and recall the intense days of 1975 when both participated in the decission of war or peace. The film is told in flashbacks of the two protagonists.

A girl, who lives together with her cousin who earns some money by dealing and her boyfriend who is a policeman, is regularly transporting some drugs from Marocco for her cousin. As all of them smoke grass from time to time there is need for more. Deciding to take a friend of hers who has just left home down to Marocco for a transport she gets problems because it is the first time for her friend and this makes it difficult. But as all are very open minded there is no problem they would not try to solve. Written by Volker Boehm
